I stared at Kevin, who was not giving me a good message through the way he was on top of Cecelia. I was shocked that Herobrine and Steve haven't killed him already. I got onto him, "Kevin! Why are you here? And what are you doing to Cecelia?"

He looked deviously, "just doing what I wanted to do to her all along. Might as well get something out of my life."

"And what's that? Killing her?"

He nodded, "yep." And he continued to press onto her neck.

I shouted at him, "NOT ON MY WATCH!" And I used my good foot to awkwardly jump onto him, knocking him off her and pinning him to the floor with my weight.

Steve got me off him and Herobrine replaced me faster than I expected his limp let him, "now you're dead." He did it in a way that he sounded like he would be more than happy to kill him for hurting Cecelia. Kevin panted and freaked out from the supernatual-ish occurrence that was on top of him. My necklace flashed three times again and a creeper came out of the shadows. Herobrine looked over and smiled at the creeper as it got closer. Herobrine creepily said, "too bad you're not immune to flames like I am. Then you would last through this." Kevin couldn't stop looking between Herobrine and the creeper. Herobrine then stood on Kevin's chest, making him squirm helplessly for air, "and you would be strong enough to lift me!" He laughed just as the sizzling noise began to sing a raspy lullaby as it neared the endangered Kevin. All of us stared at the creeper with different perspectives. Herorbine smiled in vengeance. Kevin swallowed in fear of his nearing death. Steve dragged Cecelia away with a determined look as he waited for the explosion. Cecelia was limp as she was dragged across the floor. And I was feeling like I was going to throw up, knowing that this was the same boy from a month ago that had given me a necklace that I had to replaced with what possibly caused the apocalypse.

Herobrine stood tall and proud as the last of the power needed to explode turned the creeper white. Steve put his body between the creeper and Cecelia and I, making a halo of fire glow behind his body and encircled around his abbs. He pulled me closer, "you're going to be fine!" He shouted over the explosion as it faded away. We looked over and saw the barn was on fire. The hay had caught on fire and the fire was spreading. Steve put Cecelia on his shoulder and put me on top of his other arm. He ran out of the barn and onto a dirt road, which I have told him to go to if anything was on fire, and he put us onto the ground. He shouted at the barn with fear flaring in his eyes, "HEROBRINE!"

A shout came from the barn, "HELP!" It was Herobrine. He must have got stuck under something and is in danger of getting hurt again. Or worse.

Steve ran in, "I'M COMING!" He shouted back at me, "DON'T LET CECELIA GET HURT ANY MORE THAN SHE IS ALREADY!" He quickly said that before running into the barn. I stared at the entrance until the worse situation happened. The entrance fell down, possibly forcing him to go around and jump the fence in order to get out.

I screamed, "STEVE!" No answer. "HEROBRINE!" No answer again. I started hyperventilating, hoping that I was only dreaming or something. Anything but that they had died. The barn was already engulfed with fire and smoke. I shook Cecelia until I knew that I couldn't wake her up, shouting her name throughout the moment. I started crying, knowing that we were going to die if we didn't have their help. Why did Herobrine have to do this to us? I screamed in anger and frustration with my hot cheeks getting cooled down by my tears. I didn't know what to say or do. All I knew was that there was only a few hours before sunset, and who knows if we will even have anywhere to go. Steve and Herobrine were the only two who were able to pick me up and I was able to trust. And now they are both gone.

I cried into my crossed arms, held up by my knees, until I heard movement. I also heard a voice, "mmmm.... Huh?" I was too scared to know what to do. "Tasha? What happened?"

I looked up slowly, "they-they're gone..." I sobbed into my arms again.

She laughed, "that's a joke right?" I shook my head and sobbed even more. I couldn't say a word. "They're coming right now!" I quickly picked up my throbbing head as a figure was walking toward us. It looked like it had a pair of feet hanging over to the side and had something else sticking out of the other side, but it seemed to seperate when one pair of feet stumbled and it went to the side. Suddenly Steve, holding the barely awake Herobrine, gained his color as he stepped out of the fire's blaze. He then looked like Herobrine when we first found him.

I sobbed, "oh, Steve!" I then started crying again, this time relieved but angry at the same time. He possibly dropped Herobrine gently and ran up to me to comfort me and stop my crying. He held me tight in his arms as he hushed me.

He laughed, "did you really think I would give up that easily?"

I sniffled as I calmly replied, "no... It's just... I thought that when the entrance collapsed... I-I thought you were getting cooked in there..."

Herobrine laughed, "he wasn't going to get cooked if I could handle it."

I got out of Steve's shirt, which smelled like smoke and ash, "what?"

He laughed again, "I think I forgot to mention that I could make forcefields around myself, now didn't I?"

I giggled through my gasps, "I would still be in the mess that I'm in." And everyone started getting their spirits up from that point on. We were all laughing hard and my tears were drying. I then remembered what my dad would say every time I cried. "Crying only makes your nose stuffy," he would always remark. But where is he now to tell me that? I felt ashamed to put my dad into my reasons to cry again, even though he would shout at me to stop crying. He's not the compassionate kind. I smiled, but then noticed that our house had been burnt in the front. "Now what?"

Steve looked at me, "huh?"

"The house and everything is gone. Well, at least the front part is gone. Where are we going to go in less than an hour?" The sun was slowly setting and was already starting to turn the sky pink and orange.

Herobrine nodded, "everyone, come close to me!" We all did what he said, and when we were practically laying on top of him, we were surrounded by a blueish glow. I reached up and felt a cold surface. He laughed, "now we are safe."

Cecelia was the first to protest, of course, "but what about when we get out, then what are we going to do about the hostile mobs? Don't they attack you?"

He laughed more, "no, because I am more powerful than they will ever be. They're afraid of me."

I laughed, "come one, Cece. Let it be. It's not like he'll crush us in the middle of the night."

He laughed, "not a bad idea."

Cecelia freaked out, "LET ME OUT!" She started body-slamming herself into the forcefield like there was no tomorrow, which didn't budge at all.

Herobrine became stern, "Cece! I'm not going to do it on us. I'd crush myself while I'm at it." She calmed down and fell to the ground as the dome glowed a little more. "Also, that would be for prisoners, not for us." She blushed in embarrassment.

I laughed, "why didn't we think of this before?"

Herobrine laughed, "I wasn't in the group when you first came here, remember?" And then I brought out a box of matches Cecelia got from a store a few days ago. Steve put down some branches that were in the area that we were stuck in in the center and I made a fire pit in the center of the small dome that we all had to crawl to move around. I started the fire after a few attempts to light the matches. We lit the leaves, which helped with catching the wood on fire, and to my surprise, the smoke went through the forcefield, and we spent the rest of the night trying to teach the new friends how to sing Home on the Range. And let's just say that they have messed up their singing with shouting. Fighters are not good singers...

Hey everyone! This story has reached 100 reads, so I decided to make a "fun chapter"! This is a special in which I put a meme in the beginning of the chapter to make you laugh. Want another one of these chapters? Get other people to read and another meme will appear. Also, I have a story called Companions of the Dark that is on the edge of having a chapter, since the last time I checked, that story only has six more reads to go before it gets its fun chapter. Hope it happens! So remember the following:
