I helped with keeping Herobrine off the ground as a worried Lily held onto the other end of the hammock. Cece and Steve were leaning on each other, acting like a three-legged, two-headed monster as they limped behind us. I looked behind me to see Herobrine's eyes covered by a black scarf we found off a body with his hands bound behind his back with a zip tie. Lily refused to watch her father being tied, so we had to blindfold her until we were done. Cece and Steve kept losing their balance because of Steve's alcohol problem, falling over every five minutes. Cece even tried carrying him, only making matters worse by collapsing under his weight.
Eventually, we had to stop. We couldn't keep going with so much against us. The sun was just rising and the skeletons and zombies were burning in the open, catching some dead grass on fire. I looked around to see a car in the middle of the road with lights still on and the engine roaring with life. If I didn't know that my car was wrecked miles away from this one, I would have thought that an enderman teleported my car, for it was the same design and everything.
I cautiously took a step toward the car after gently letting Herobrine lay on the ground. He moaned a little and moved a little, but soon went to sleep again. I took that as a sign that he was about to wake up. I snuck up beside the car, seeing that one of the doors was open. I took a peak inside to see no one was there. "Figures..." I grabbed the keys and put them in my pocket.
Cece came up to me, exhausted, "finally. Something to relax in." She dropped Steve and crawled into the car. She then said, nearly shouting, "holy cow!"
Lily laughed, "so that's what you worship here?"
Cece glared, "no. It's just I think we won't have to worry about food for a while."
I peaked at the back and saw the amount of supplies. I sighed, "now all we need to do is somehow fit everyone in here." I looked down at Steve, "and now we have two men down."
Steve let out a small snore.
Herobrine moaned, this time actually talking, "hm... what?" He started moving his arms a little. "What's going on? Who's keeping me prisoner?" He struggled against the restraints.
I asked, walking up to him, "hey, Herobrine. Do you remember anything last night?"
"Morning already?" He then seemed to become mad again, "what are you doing to me?!"
"Sorry, Herobrine. When you were drugged, you became a little crazy and tried to kill us. We... wanted to make sure you weren't going to do it again." I put my hand on his shoulder, as if that could calm him down.
He stalled, then spoke again, "Wait. What did I do?"
"You don't remember?" I honestly was shocked. But then again, my friends didn't when they woke up behind bars.
He shook his head, "no. All I remember is that Cece gave me a funny-tasting drink and you and Lily picked me up." He then moaned, "my head hurts."
I then cleared my throat, "alright. But it seems that you aren't that bad anymore." I cut the zip tie and he pulled his arms from underneath himself. He took off the blindfold and squinted at the sunlight. I continued, "Lily and I were trying to keep you and Steve on your feet. Then you gave off these commands to attack us. I tried to convince you to stop the invasion, but it took Cece getting hurt for you to tell them to attack the guys that shot at us." I watched his reaction as it went from pain to fear. I then let the last sentence out, "and Steve was smart enough to knock you out with a branch. But it looks like you've cooled down. Oh, and the headache is a mixture if the alcohol and Steve."
He didn't move for a moment, and he sat up and put his hands over his head, "what have I done?" He took his hands off his head, "where's Lily?!"
I pulled Lily closer, who looked to be frightened to the point of passing out, "she's right here."
