Karina sat in the cafeteria with her friend Tayla. She watched as everyone received valentine's day gifts from their boyfriend or best friend.
Zach's present was in her bag, but she didn't know if she would see Zach because they got into this huge fight yesterday.
Zach was walking through the basement hallway. His present for Karina in his hand.
He walked into the cafeteria and saw her sitting at the table with Tayla. He smiled before walking up to her.
Karina felt Tayla nudge her. She turned around and saw Zach standing with a bear and her favorite chocolate. She smiled widely and stood up to hug him.
She didn't really care about the presents she was just glad she got her best friend back.
Zach smiled as he hugged her. It was hell when they weren't talking to each other.
Karina pulled away and gave Zach his present which was a new basketball since Bishop ruined his last.
Zach smiled and hugged her again. They both sat down.
"I'm sorry." Karina said. "Me too." Zach said before pulling her into a hug.
She smiled.
"Goals!" Tayla yelled.
Both Zach and Karina gave her the finger.
Even though inside their hearts beating like crazy.
