"This... And this... Oh! This too!" Louise said as she gave me dress after dress after dress.

"Aren't these enough already? I can still dress in my bodyguard suit and just stand behind a pillar or something." I suggested.

"No. You're my brother's girlfriend, so you have to attend every social event with him. Whether you like it or not." She gave me another dress. "Here."

"Okay, now go try these on." Louise said while pushing me towards the changing rooms.

Shaking my head, I closed the curtain behind me and tried on every single dress they gave to me. But... I don't look good in any of them.

"Why is finding a dress for you so hard?" Louise asked no-one in particular.

"I don't know? Let's just pick a random dress, preferably the ones on sale, or the cheaper ones." As I've said before, I don't think expensive things are really necessary, and I like to buy things on sale.

"No. That makes you look cheap." Alice says bluntly.

"Fine, fine. As you wish, your majesty." I curtsied.

While Louise and Alice were looking around for our dresses, I was on my phone, reading Wattpad stories.

"You really love reading, don't you?" Alice suddenly came up behind me, startling me.

"Yeah. But not every mafia family is Russian or Italian. The stories are pretty good, though."

"I wish you loved shopping as much as reading." Alice sighed. "What do you think of this dress?"

She was holding up a lacey black dress, with a really low dip showing her back. It was elegant yet sexy at the same time. "I think it'll look really good on you. Why don't you go try it on?"

"Okay!" She happily went into the dressing room, and came back out. Just as I thought, she looked really beautiful in it.

"Yes! Finally!" Louise suddenly said. She handed me a black dress, and pushed me into the dressing room. "Try this on."

I shook out the dress, and took a good look at it. It definitely wasn't something I'd pick for myself. It shows too much cleavage and too much of my legs.

"Can you give me a longer dress? That covers my chest?"I asked Louise.

"No. Just try it on. If you still don't want it, then I'll choose another one for you." Alice replied. I'm guessing Louise is already going around, picking more dresses for herself to try.

Reluctantly, I pulled the dress on. Taking a deep breath, I looked at myself in the mirror. Wow. I actually look really good! I opened the curtain, and stepped out to show Alice.

"You have to buy this dress. You just have to " She said. "Louise already chose hers, so let's pay for the dresses. We still have to find accessories and shoes to go with them."

Nodding along, I went back inside the changing room to change back into my T-shirt and jeans. I handed the dress to Alice, and she paid for the three of us.

"I can't find the right necklace to go with my dress. Maybe I'll just go without one, it's not a big deal." I said. We've been to every jewelry store here, but we just couldn't find the perfect necklace to go with my dress. Alice and Louise bought necklaces, earrings and bracelets, while I only bought a pair of earrings.

"Fine. But I'm not giving up." Alice said, "I'll see if I have any necklaces for you."

"Me too." Louise took a look at her phone and gasped. "I have to go back now, my parents want me to have dinner with them."
