Jade Hernandez
I did find even more information on the Black Mafia with the help of my brothers over the last few days, but it's still not enough. Not to mention, Diablo is still a complete mystery to me. I decided to go to our computer lab to hack into their system or something.
"Ace!" I shouted. "Come help me!"
"No! You can do it on your own!"
"Please?" I begged. Soon enough, he came into the computer lab and glared at me. I just smiled at him. "How do I hack into a private account?"
"I'm not even going to ask why..." He sighed and rambled off a bunch of instructions, but I couldn't remember execpt for 'and there you go'.
"Could you say that in English please?" He grumbled something incomprehensible, and started showing me how to instead.
"Thank you!" With this, I found more information about the Black Mafia than I ever did, and copied important things down until it was time to sleep. That was how I spent the next week or two, only going outside for food and drinks, or to get some exercise.
For the next few weeks after that I was so focused on training with Alec, since he's the better fighter, that I forgot to give Alice a call.
"Why do you have to be so hard on me?" I groaned as Alec beat me for the third time in a row. "I'm not a man like you, you know? Go easy on me."
"Nah. This is the best way to learn fast. You will want to beat me, which pushes you to train harder, and perform better."
"Okay. Again." I pushed myself up and got into position.
"Try your best. 'Kay?"
"Like I need you to tell me." I rolled my eyes playfully at him, and blocked the first blow.

"Okay. I'm good to go." I hugged my brothers before getting into the cab, and heading to the Reinhardt mansion.
Yesterday, I gave a call to Alice. Hope she won't mind the short notice.
Eric Reinhardt
It's been several weeks since Jade left, and there's no sign of her coming back anytime soon. Alice started grinning at me knowingly each time I sighed, and I guess it's pretty obvious why.
"Ugh!" I slammed my hand on my desk for the millionth time today. I couldn't seem to get any work done, since all I could think about was Jade.
Her presence has become a comfort to me, even though we usually don't interact much. At first I thought it was just because she's my bodyguard, but even after Jackson and Aribelle came, I still couldn't help but think of her.
"Bro? You okay?" Alice came into my office without me noticing, causing me to jump a little. I just sighed. "Jade is on the line."
Shooing her out of the room, I picked up my phone. She hasn't called at all during the last few weeks. "Hello?"
"Hi, Eric." Just that small greeting alone made me release a breath that I didn't realize I was holding.
"What's up?" I managed to squeeze out, mentally groaning at my own nervousness.
"Is it okay if I head over tomorrow? It concerns Alice's and your safety." I'm guessing it couldn't be said over the phone.
"Yeah, sure. What time?"
"In the afternoon. See you tomorrow, Mr. Reinhardt." Click. The line went dead.
Feeling giddy, I called for Alice.
"Someone's looking happy." She commented as soon as she saw me. "Jade's coming tomorrow, right? Your face tells it all."
"Yeah. What should we do? Should we eat out? Are you guys going shopping? God, she's making me feel like a teenage girl." I ran my fingers though my hair nervously.
"Just leave it to me." She smirked mysteriously. "It will be fine."

"Hey Alice! Hi, Eric." Jade said as she got out of the cab.
"I missed you so much!" Alice hugged Jade as soon as we got inside the house.
"Me too. But I have some bad news."
"Should we talk in my office?" I suggested. Nodding, Jade and Alice followed me, leaving her suitcase to Albert.
As soon as she closed the door behind her, she looked at us seriously. "The Diablo is coming for you."
"Huh? You mean the boss of that guy we met that night?" Alice asked in confusion.
"I guess it's better for you guys to sit down first." What she told us after that shook my world, and not in a good way.
As I mentioned in the previous chapter/Author's Note, I'm making my chapters shorter, so they're probably going to be about this short from now on.
Looking at the number of words in each chapter, I realized that it has gone from 300~400+ words per chapter to 900~1000+ words. Wow.
What did Jade find out about Diablo? Any guesses? Must've been pretty shocking though.

2/3/2017 Edit: The previous chapter was removed, nothing much was said haha. Only that I'll make my chapters shorter because my friend @JoyKang8 said that reading such long chapters on her phone is quite overwhelming.
