Eric Reinhardt
I watched from the window as a car pulled up my driveway. I will meet my bodyguard in a few minutes, and I wished she isn't some giggly (is that even a word?), bubbly, overly enthusiastic air-head of a bodyguard. Those kind of people are so annoying.
I blinked as two males walked out of the vehicle. I specifically requested my bodyguard to be female.
What in the world? I thought while looking up at the sky. Looks like a storm is coming soon.
Shaking out of my confused state, I looked again, and this time, I saw a female with black hair and glasses.Glasses? Who wears glasses when they're supposed to be protecting someone?
The three of them exchanged a few words before the older male got into the car. I'm guessing he's her father. The younger male then said something to her, and she laughed before hugging him.
Brother? But they don't look that much alike. Boyfriend? Yeah, I think that's it.
He got into the car after kissing her forehead, and she waved at them until the gates closed behind their vehicle. She took a big breath, and walked towards the front door.
"Albert!" I hollered as I made my way downstairs to my office. I wanted to meet my bodyguard as soon as possible.
Sitting at my big office desk, I waited for Albert to bring the female in. As if on cue, I heard him knock.
"Come in." Albert opened the door for her, gave a small bow, and left.
"Have a seat." Looking at her, I realized that she isn't really tall or built. Also, she looked like one of those shy, nerdy girls. I raised an eyebrow. She's a bodyguard?
"Tell me something about yourself.""Um... My name is Jade Hernandez, and I've been training ever since I was young to become a bodyguard." She paused for a moment, "And I'm stronger than you think."
I chuckled at her. She's interesting. "Okay. Nice to meet you, Jade. I'm Eric Reinhardt, and I've been the CEO of the Reinhardt Enterprises every since I turned eighteen."
"Ever since you're eighteen?" She asked after a few seconds of blank staring.
"What? I took over my father's career." She's quite bold to stare at me while I stared back, without blinking an eye.
"Oh. Okay." There was a moment of silence before I spoke up.
"You can start your job tomorrow. For today, just relax and stuff. You can go for a swim if you want." I stood up to lead her to her room.
"Uhm... Mr. Reinhardt?" She asked. "Can I talk to your butler... About some security plans?"
"Of course. You're free to do whatever you like." I opened her door, "And call me Eric."

I watched her as she looked around her room like a kid, then left for my office.
"Renee." I called one of my maids over.
"Yes sir?" As always, she looked scared to be around me.
"Take Miss Hernandez to shop for several swimsuit and dresses at the department store. Buy her swimsuits at Joshua's store." Josh is my friend who opened a Victoria's Secret store in the department store closest to my house.
"Sir, what kind of dresses does she need to buy?" Renee asked nervously.
"At least one of every kind. Buy some night gowns or pajamas, too." I waved my hand, dismissing her.
She scurried out, heading towards the servants' quarters to change out of her maid's uniform.
Next, I called in Albert to make a sandwich for my lunch. Jade and Renee might not come back until evening.
I felt kind of bad for telling Jade to relax, when she's just going shopping later on. Maybe I should also give her a day off tomorrow.
Running my hand through my hair, I sighed and got started on today's worth of paperwork. I guess I won't see Jade until this evening.
