Gemini X Libra

Gemini was never really much for being active or anything at all really. She mostly planned to get through school and hang out with her friends before working in theater and makeup for an art. However the first day of school, she saw him sitting in the seat next to hers. Just like the year before, when she had met him.

She sat down in her seat trying to stay calm. He was sitting right next to her with his dazzling emerald eyes and dark brunette hair. He was focusing on the paper in front of him, his eyebrows scrunched together and his jaw clenched, with determination shining from his emerald orbs. Gemini attempted to calm her pounding heart as she looked up at the front of the room, where her best friend, Lily, stood. 

She waved her over to the other seat next to her and began chatting due to the excitement of their first day back. Lily had, once again, been voted as Student Council President and was in charge of helping decide classroom partners. The bell rang and Gemini jumped a little as the boy next to her stirred. 

"Good morning class." The teacher greeted.

"Good morning." The class droned.

"We'll be staring with partner assignments for the next semester. You'll be working on creating a fairy tale dialogue from any fairy tale available." The teacher continued, "The starting partners are...."

"Leah and Lily." Lily waved to her friend across the room. Gemini slowly stared off when she heard the last partner pair.

"Gemini and Libra." What? Gemini perked up like a puppy who just heard the word treat. Did the teacher really just say Libra?

"So Gemini......" Libra's voice trailed off as he scratched the nape of his neck, "Do you want to meet up at my house to get started?"

Speechless, Gemini nodded furiously, almost unable to comprehend the actions that had just taken place.

***********Time skip to months later because I'm a lazy shoz*********

She had done it, it had taken tears, and sweat, and blood (well, mental nosebleeds if that counted), and a lot of encouragement from Lily, but she did it. Gemini had successfully done her drama project with Libra. She was so excited for the day they presented it, until she remember one thing. That would mean that she couldn't hang out with him anymore.

"Don't look so down in the dumps, Gemi!" Lily punched her lightly in the arm, "You have like five other classes, you could be partners there."

"But I'm such a clutz that if we do a lab in science I'll spill the chemicals all over his shoes and he'll hate me!" Gemini wailed as she curled up in a ball.

"Who will hate you?" Libra's voice came from directly behind her. Gemini went rigid as she shot up with Lily elbowing her in the ribs.

Lily smiled, "Oh no one, just you know, your average, everyday, run of the mill, anxiety filled Gemini. Nothing to see here!"

Libra cocked an eyebrow, "Alright then,"

"I," he continued looking at Gemini, "will see you in class. Later!"

Gemini's heart fluttered in her chest as he walked away, meeting up with Taurus and Cancer at the end of the hall. 

**********After School*********

Gemini was walking out the doors of school alone, Lily, being student council president, had gone to a netting with you know, the student council (what did you think it'd be, Scooby Doo?). Therefore, Gemini was walking through the halls alone. As she pushed through the glass doors she heard a voice and the squeaking of sneakers.

"Gemini!" Libra called out, "Do you maybe want to come hang out at my place today?"

Gemini blushed beat red, "S-Sure!"

Libra smiled and intertwined their fingers, "Good, 'cause I would've taken you with me either way."
