Pisces knew she wasn't a good swimmer, she swam like a fish, always wanting to be able to touch the ground. Aquarius was her best friend, the ace of the swimming team, certified in CPR and first aid, and being a lifeguard at summer camps. Pisces was spending the day at the beach with him, and all he wanted to do was swim.
"Follow me!" He grinned idiotically as he splashed into the water, his blue hair blending in with the waters.
Pisces gasped for breath, "Wait for me."
As she raced in, her foot slipped on a rock in the sand and she tumbled into the waves. Pisces coughed as her lungs burned from lack of oxygen. The light from the sun began shadow as her back hit the smooth sand of the ocean floor.
"Isces! PISCES!" Aquarius' voice shouted at her hands pressed on her chest. Warm lips came in contact with hers and air filled her body.
Pisces jumped up and coughed, her body shivering and shaking from the cold. Aquarius' warm arms wrapped around her, like a winter blanket.
"Please don't ever do that again," Aquarius nuzzled his face in her neck, "I love you Pisces, I don't want to lose you."
Shocked, Pisces put her hand on his back and hugged him, "I'm safe now, Aquarius, I'm not leaving."
The last words she spoke before the silence were a mere whisper, "I love you too."
