Mad was an understatement. Gemini was fuming, Libra could practically see steam coming from her ears. Currently she was hanging out at a basketball court with some of her best friends because they wanted to cheer on one of the players, a good friend of her ex. She huffed as she sat down, she had never understand basketball, three pointers, checking, traveling, the vocabulary was jumbled up in her brain like salad. She was holding a water bottle as she looked out onto the court, spotting her school's team coming out to play. Her friends clapped and cheered as they began and she was smiling up until that point, when she him.

He had the ball, his long legs racing as he dribbled across the court, leaping up just in time to dunk the ball before the last three seconds ran out. Sweat covered his red hair like a mop as he stood up in his uniform of red and yellow. She frowned a bit and looked away, her heart still not fully healed from the wound he left. Her golden hair shielded her eyes as lights flashed, students from her school leaping up with joy. Gemini could only guess that he had made the shot. Of course he had, he had practiced all year to get onto the varsity team, not like he wouldn't.

"Come on Gemini!" Libra called out through the crowd as they made their way off the bleachers, "Let's go congratulate them! Pisces is already there!"

As she looked up, Gemini did notice Pisces hugging a lot of the members in congratulations, but she noticed that even he received with a smile. Had she not had a strong enough bond with him to break his heart too? As they moved forward, Pisces turned to Libra and Gemini widely and rushed over to them so they could help.

"Come on Mini!" She grinned, "They did a great job, do a little smiling! Show off those pearly whites!"

"Why smile when there's nothing to provoke it?" A male voice followed and Gemini's figure went rigid.

Gemini's voice was dull, "Aries."

He replied easily, "Gemini."

Slowly Libra pulled Pisces away in order to prevent being swept up in the two's bickering. Aries leaned against the nearby wall and chugged down most of his water. Wiping the left over liquid from his mouth he ran his hand through his hair.

"So..."He started, "How's life?"

"Nothing much," Gemini stared off, "you?"

"You know just," He gestured to his team, "making the varsity team. That's about as exciting as it gets."

Gemini looked away as he continued, "Hey Gem? I just wanted to, you know, ask if we could still be friends-"

"I hate you," Gemini gritted her teeth, "end of story."

"-we don't have to be in touch or anything it's just, my friends want to hang with yours, but they're afraid to because of the tension-"

"No, I will not be friends with you."

"So if we could just loosen that tension, I'm not asking you to love me again-"

Gemini's fists balled up and she stomped on Aries' foot, "We broke up for a reason Aries! I hate your smile! I hate your laugh! I hate the way you talk to others! I hate you!"

"What gives you any reason to torture your and my friends then?" He stood taller than her as she continued.

"I hate everything about you," Her words made him freeze in his place,"because I still love everything about you!"

Her eyes went wide on her face for a second before she stepped on his toes again and stormed away. Aries clutched his foot and leaned against the wall, his mind whirling as his body stood still. Only then did he comprehend what she had just confessed to. She still loves me, she still loves me! Were the only words that Aries could think as he raced out of the school at lightning speed.

 There she was, just down the front steps, walking her way towards a taxi. 

He called out to her, "Gemini!"

She turned her head after he had jumped. He landed in front of her and wrapped his arms around her shorter figure, not willing to let go. The rain around them was pouring down as he stuck his head in the crook of her neck.

"Please, please don't leave again," His voice was lonely and heartbroken, "I still love you, I've always loved you."

Stunned to silence, the only thing Gemini could do was wrap her arms around him, holding him so as to never let him go. As Aries began to compose himself, she wrapped her hand in the collar of his uniform and pulled him down to her lips. The contact was something she had missed, the things that had brought her to life on rainy days. As the sparks thumped inside her heart they separated for air and she smiled, brighter than she had in weeks.

"So are we back together?" Aries asked nervously.

Gemini intertwined her hand in his, "Of course."
