Capricorn was sitting in the bleachers, reading over poetry again. As far as she was concerned, she always found the school pool as a place to read and study after school. That was until she came. Aquarius was the captain of the school swim team and the current state champion. Capricorn looked up slightly from her novel as she swam laps. Her blue hair was pulled into a swim cap the same color of the green and blue school swim suit. As she got out of the water and waved at Capricorn, Capricorn blushed and continued looking down at her book.
Recently, Aquarius was the only thing on her mind, to Capricorn she was the paragon of perfection, all her flaws made her humble, and her mortality made her a mortal goddess on Earth. Capricorn bit her lip as she continued reading. Well, Capricorn did have a good reason to be thinking about Aquarius, I mean-
"Hey Cap!" Aquarius sat down next to the studious girl, "Watcha reading?"
"Just poetry."
"On what?"
"Water."
"Really? Cool!" Aquarius put her shoulder over the girl.
"I told you we were the perfect match!" Aquarius smiled before pecking the girl on the lips and reading the poetry with her. Capricorn was red in the face, but grinned and continued reading. After all, one little mermaid had met her human, and they were going to make a happily ever after.
