ERIC POV
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK I woke up an looked at the clock 3am who the hell thinks it's a good idea to knock on my door at 3am I get out of bed and put some pants on and walk to the door I open it ready to shout in the persons face but it's Max so I can't
"What do you want Max?" I ask trying to sound as calm as possible
"I need you to help me with Chelsea" he replies I raise my eyebrow
"You need my help with your daughter" I say almost humorously
"Yes she's drunk and out of control" he explains
"And why can't you sort it" I question he rubs the back of his neck
"I'm sending her to rehab after initiation so she's mad at me and won't listen to a word I say" he admits my jaw drops
"What why" I ask
"Can we talk about it later right now I'm scared that Chelsea might do something stupid" he says avoiding the subject I huff
"Okay gimme a minute" I answer going back to my room and throwing my clothes on and for once not bothering with my hair I walk back to Max "let's go" I say closing my door and locking it. We make our way down to the bar there's no sign of her "hey where's Chelsea?" I ask the bartender
"She left about 10 minutes ago" he replies
"Thanks, we can look on the cameras in the control room" I say to Max he nods we run to the control room where Four is watching the cameras
"Hey have you seen Chelsea" Max asks Four
"She was near the Chasm a minute ago" he says he switches the cameras a few times "and she's still there" he says pulling up the camera near the chasm Max goes to walk out but I stop him
"Let me talk to her" I tell him he he nods knowing he would only make it worse. I walk to the Chasm and see her leaning over the rails looking thoughtful "Chels..." I say walking to her cautiously
"Let me guess HE sent you" she slurs I stand next to her
"He's worried about you" I tell her she scoffs
"Worried? Hardly I'm just one big failure in his life" she says taking a drink from the bottle in her hand
"No your not, trust me" I say trying to soothe her but from the looks of it, it wasn't working
"What planet are you on Eric, HE WANTS ME GONE" she shouts a tear escapes her eye and she slumps down onto the floor "he wants me gone Eric" she sobs I kneel down next to her and pull her into an embrace she soon falls asleep and I carry her to my apartment and put her into bed I close the door and walk into my living room where Max is stood
"Am I doing the right thing Eric?" Max asks
"Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind" I quote
"I've got to go, look after her please your all she's got now, in her head anyway" Max says I nod
"I'll try talk her round but she's stubborn so no guarantees" I tell him he smiles and leaves I lay on the sofa and fall asleep.
