Lana and I were walking down the sidewalk together, suddenly she slipped her hand in mine. I gasped and blushed but held her hand,"Lana..."

"What?" She smiled.

I just stared at her, she was mesmerizing in a way that I couldn't figure out, but I love it. A soft blush crept it's way into her face. I swung our hands back and forth, humming to some tunes I had in my head. "Do you like it here?"

"In the park?" She asked, looking around.

"No I mean in London."

"Well yes, it's like a second home, but I love New York too." She admitted.

"I've never been, but I'd like to go one day." I smiled up at her.

"It's so nice," she smiled down at me, "There's so many different types of people and scenes." she looked as if she was remembering her life there, then her smile faded and she looked away.

"What's the matter?" I held both of her hands.

"Nothing, I'm just thinking of my old life." she smiled down at me sadly.

I stood on my tip toes and kissed her cheek, "Do you wanna talk about it love?"

"No not really, it's not important." she let go of one of my hands and we continued to walk.

"Lana, it's important to me..." I said softly.

She had a faraway look in her eyes, "Things were so simple back then," she smiled sadly, "I had friends, real friends, and we'd party all night, and we loved each other. But, all good things must come to an end, my friend Tony got locked up and I got sent away, but I never forgot about my friends, and I never will."

I looked up at her, at how her eyebrows were furrowed as she tried to travel back to her life in New York. I stayed quiet as we walked through the park, she pulled me into her arms, hugging me tightly, I blushed slightly, but I held her close, burying my head in her chest.

I held Marina close and didn't say anything, I didn't need to because she felt me, she felt how I was feeling. "Lana?" she looked up at me with soft brown eyes.

"Hm?"

"Can we go home?" she asked softly.

"Of course." I grabbed her hand and laced our fingers together as we walked back to my apartment. When we got inside we took off our shoes and jackets and then cuddled on the couch. I was laying behind her and I held her protectively. She felt relaxed as she was telling me about her music life, "I just feel like no one takes me serious as an artist..." she rolled over and looked at me.

"Well you have to make them take you seriously, in the industry, you have to take respect, no one wants to give it." I stroked her hair, "You're an amazing singer and artist and you can make it, I know you will." I smiled.

She kissed me sweetly, "You're so sweet." she buried her face in the nape of my neck, I wrapped my arms around her tiny waist and held her close, inhaling her vanilla scent.

"What are we?" I asked after a while.

"W-what do you mean?" she murmured.

"Are we together?"

"Do you want to be?" she asked softly.

I pulled away and looked at her, "Of course I do...." I giggled.

"Then it's official." she smiled and then kissed me gently.

I held her close and we cuddled for the rest of the day.

I love her.
