(( A/N: and of course, I'm still a lazy butthole, and take forever to update crap. Yeah yeah I'm on it. ))
~Vincent's POV~
I blinked awake, light creeping through an open door and into my face. It took me a moment to adjust to it.
I sat upright. I looked over at the restraints that held me in place. I tugged at them a few times, then groaned and looked up at the door that was slightly open.
How had this happened? I still couldn't fully recall that day, but now I had a bit better visual of it.
I'd went out. I can't recall why; my memory is still blurred in some places. I'd knew that the people who were after me were close, and I knew I had to return home. With no easy way to get away quickly, I ran. And when I ran, they followed.
And they'd succeeded in catching me when I stopped to take a break, the freezing cold and aching bones becoming too much for me.
I remember the next part quite more vividly, falling into the stiffness of a vehicle. Struggling as they held me down. A sharp pain.
I yelled out. I just lost it.
I struggled. But eventually I gave up. I couldn't take it anymore.
And that's when everything started aching and I passed out.
That's all I remember, and that's all I want to remember now.
