~Vincent's POV~
That door came creaking open again.
"Hello again Vincent." they said, closing the door behind them as they walked over. "How's your leg doing, sir?"
It was the voice of a man, I assume the one I'd met first here.
"It's doing just fine and dandy, why do you ask?" I growled in a bitter and sarcastic tone.
"Well I guess you're not in a good mood today, now are you?~" he laughed.
"Nope. I seriously just want out of here."
"Oh, and I wish I could help you with that, I really do. But I'd probably die too then so... Let's just keep the body count at one, shall we?"
"You talk about my death as if it's nothing." I scoffed. "You're colder than me."
"I've seen a lot of things here." he remarked in reply to this comment, then shrugged. "But let's just get to some real fun.~"
"Oh, boy, are we going to Disney World?~" I said sarcastically, then was met with a cold knife to my neck.
"I would take you, but uh, I don't exactly think a child murderer would exactly fit in at the happiest place on earth, darling." He pressed the knife further against my neck, taunting me.
"Shut your mouth." I growled.
"Can't do that. I can shut yours though!" He laughed before pulling the knife off of my neck and slashing it across my vertically in a swift and single movement. I let out a quiet groan of pain, gritting my teeth as I felt my own blood run down my lips and chin.
"...just... kill me already... please." I mumbled in pure and bitter defeat after that, actually just blurting it out. I don't know why I said it. It just slipped from those dark parts of my mind. Those parts where all hope had been drained.
"Honestly Vincent, I wish I could. You've committed some crimes but you don't deserve this. You don't deserve to be locked up in chains, pushed around, betrayed, bruised, cut, laughed at, and just completely beaten and broken, then die afterwards. But that isn't my choice at this point."
"I don't care," the words slipped out again. "Please.. Just slit my throat..."
He looked at me for a moment, and in the darkness I could see his cold eyes that had something like sympathy lingering in them.
"I can't do that. I'm sorry. Besides, don't give up hope just yet. That's what they want you to do. Don't let them have what they want." And with that blank statement he turned and left the room, slamming and locking the door.
I was left staring at the ceiling as blood dripped down my chin, and I was left wondering if I should listen to that statement or not.

~Scott's POV~
I glanced back behind me at Fritz and Jeremy, who were in the back of the car. Jeremy was still a complete nervous wreck, shaking and whimpering. Fritz made several attempts during the drive to try and calm the poor boy down but eventually he just... gave up. It seemed to be no use.
I turned back around after that quick glance and then looked at (Y/N). She had her eyes locked on the road, deep in thought.
I then sighed quietly to myself. I turned and gazed out the window beside me, watching the familiar surroundings go by.
I was honestly mentally praying that we weren't gonna die, but I'd lost a whole lot of faith in our chances of survival at this point.
