The rain pounded against the windows and the roof as the door to an office in the midst of the building flew open.
"Ma'am, you-know-who has returned. And with just the man you're looking for."
The woman seemed to chuckle and stood up. "Ah. That's lovely." There was an evil glint in her eyes. "Bring both of them to me."
"I'm not sure if this is the right time, ma'am, they're probably both pretty unstable, and-"
"Does it look like I care?!" She snapped, leaning over the table and grabbing the man by his collar. "Bring them to me. The faster we get this over with, the better, and if we wait any longer there won't be any time left to have some fun...~"
"U-Uh, yes ma'am. I'll be right on that..." He eyed her hand as she slowly loosened her grip on his collar and pulled away, grinning.
As he turned and fled the room, slamming the door behind him, the lady chuckled and sat back down.
"This town has suffered for too long," she muttered, pulling her chair up to her desk and pushing some papers out of the way. "This has to be done. The past needs to be put behind us all."
She scowled as she pushed the last of the papers away, then pulled open a drawer. She was obviously set on finding something.
She finally smiled as she pulled out a folder, something scribbled in an unreadable code on the front of it.
"It's time for a couple of people to pay the price."
