((Wow guys look I'm up at 3:00 A.M. on a school night writing fanfiction that sure seems healthy. Oh well. I'll just pay up for it when I have to suffer through the pain of Math class r.i.p me))
***~Your POV~
You looked at Vincent, then back at Jeremy. Jeremy had this horrified look on his face, and he was staring right at you. You bit your lip, pitying him.
You looked back at Vincent, who looked up at you. "(Y/N)..." he mumbled barely and weakly, but you cut him off quickly.
"Before you even ask, I'm not going to just leave you here." you hissed at him quietly, looking back at Jeremy.
"B-But what about Jeremy?.. He hasn't done anything wrong. I have, though, and that's probably the exact reason we're here-"
"Vincent, seriously, shut up. You're not dying, and Jeremy's not dying either. Let's just-"
Vincent just scowled and pulled himself from your grip, limping out into the space in between you and the two holding Jeremy where Scott and Fritz were. "Take me, okay?.." He said bitterly.
After a long moment, the woman just grinned, then slowly pulled the knife away from Jeremy and let go of him. The small boy automatically scrambled away from them, hiding in between Fritz and Scott.
Everyone seemed to focus on Vincent now as he limped towards them. But Vincent had taken notice in how the woman had just seemed to let her guard down and relax, and he didn't trust it.
Still, it was a weak point for her.
So as he got close and she reached for him, he quickly mad his go for the knife in her hand.
What, you didn't really think he was going to surrender, really? He's a killer, after all.
He somehow snagged the blade, and she of course took the chance to slice the palm of his hand, but he just kicked her in the legs hard. She skidded and barely loosened her grip, giving him just enough time to pull it from her hand. As blood dripped down both the blade and his palm, he triumphantly grabbed it by its handle properly and cut her across the chest, just buying himself more time to get away as she cursed under her breath in pain.
As you watched in awe, he turned and took off as fast as his wounded leg would take him, grabbing you by the hand and pulling him with you as he went by. You just looked at him.
Out of breath, he just laughed and answered, "Well, what were you expecting me to do? Just give myself to those crazy people?"
You just rolled your eyes, barely smiling, and glanced over your shoulder to make sure Scott, Jeremy and Fritz were still following you. They were of course, and with that you confirmation you turned back around and pulled yourself in front of Vincent, dragging him forward now instead of the other way around.
You were set on getting out of there, and that was what you were going to do.
