She lied, she lied to the FBI
When she told them she was innocent
A victimless crime, and I don't give a shit
I'd never drop dime on my baby
Though she gave it to the FBI- She Lied To The FBI, Alkaline Trio.

I was the news again. This time it was an update. Turns out that there has been another murder, a guy called Tyler Joseph from that band Twenty One pilots; only instead only two members (One now).

The reason I was involved was because like with Mikey, a personal item had been stolen from the body. This time it was a balaclava, one used on stage. They said that it couldn't have been me if the two were linked but if the theory of separate people committing the murders was true, then they would still keep me under close surveillance.

It's actually funny. There was overcast kids (our fan base) at a cancelled venue last night campaigning for me. They shouldn't bother.

I heard a barking downstairs.
"Shut up Hemingway." I shout to my dog. He carries on. Of course. With a groan I rolled off the bed I had shared with a chick last night and stomped like the stubborn little kid I am downstairs.

"What?" It's ten to midnight. Hemingway continued to bark at the door so I opened it, grabbed the lead, and took him outside.

The FBI weren't around. I guessed they got bored of waiting for me to do something, like a goldfish in a bowl. I let Hemingway sniff around. He transitioned into a run and stopped right by the side of the house. Plonking his fat ass down, he looked at me dead in the eyes and cocked his little squashed face to the side, like he was trying to show me something.

I crouched down next to him. "What boy?" I whispered. He continued to look at me in that strange way. I looked down in dismay and that's when I saw it. There on the ground was a lit cigarette, catching alight on the lawn. I got the dog away and stepped on the flames until they died down. What the fuck? I didn't even smoke which meant someone else had been here. But who?

There was a faint snapping sound behind me, a twig breaking in two. I gasped and turned my head sharply in the direction it came from. There is no one there.
