Everyone's running from something but we don't know when it's coming...

~Chapter 41~ What's going on here?

Danny's pov:

We're already two days home from disneyland and I'm really glad that Rose had such an amazing time. I woke up to an empty bed cause Rose had to work early today. I lay for a little longer in bed just staring into space and thinking. After a few minutes I get up and go downstairs to feed Skyler and get breakfast for myself. I sit down at the dinner table eating my breakfast and scrolling through twitter, laughing at the weird photos our fans are posting about us and the amazing fan art their making. I finish my breakfast and quickly change into some sweatpants and t-shirt to have a walk with Skyler cause she's barking by the door and I don't want to be the one who has to clean the house if she's gonna poop here inside. I put my shoes and leather jacket on and grab her lead. I walk with her to the park where she's running around trying to catch the birds and scaring the ducks. I laugh at how stupid she looks like running around like this. After a few minutes she comes back running to me so we walk back home. When we enter the house she runs into the living room and jumped on the couch. I decided to have a shower so I went upstairs to the bathroom and stripped to nothing and turned the shower on.

Maud's pov:

It's been a few weeks since I saw Danny. And Rose... When I saw Rose she was shouting at me that I needed to stay away from her and Danny. I said that I'd do that, but was she really that stupid to believe that? I know she could be really really stupid but I've never kept a promise with her so why'd I that do now? I sound like a really bad sis now, but the truth is, she's just a bitch. Always been a bitch, when we were younger she was always the attention seeker saying how bad everyone was treating her and shit like that. But I don't really care. And now, I'll do everything it takes to break them apart. I mean Rose doesn't deserve someone as perfect and hot as Danny. And Danny deserves someone who is WAY better than Rose. Maybe someone like me... I mean I wouldn't mind if he'd fall for me, and how hard could it be to let him fall for me, I mean he fell for Rose...

I turned up at their house and decided not to knock and just walk in to surprise Danny. I knew Rose wouldn't be home cause I did some research. So I guess Danny's home alone I have enough time. I silently opened the door and walked into the living room. Empty. I only saw that stupid dog from Rose lying on the couch. I walked to the kitchen and again it was empty. He must be home I mean the door wasn't locked. I walked back to the hall and heard the shower run from the bathroom. Perfect. 

Danny's pov:

I stood in the shower with my eyes closed and face to the wall, just enjoying the hot water running over my body. After a few minutes I heard some noise from downstairs but ignored it, probably Skyler running around or something. I relaxed again thinking about how lucky I am. Suddenly I felt two arms wrap around me from behind and a body being pressed against my back.

"You're back early babe, not that I mind, I love your company, especially here." I said grinning still with my eyes closed.

"I like your company as well."

Wait. That's not Rose's voice. I slowly opened my eyes not wanting to see who was standing behind me in my fucking shower! I had my eyes opened by now and turned around. WHAT THE FUCK?! 

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" I shouted at Maud.

"Keeping you company like you said yourself." She replied like it was just a normal thing walking into someone's house and stepping into the shower.

"FUCK OF!" I shouted feeling my anger rising. She just ignored me and looking down at my... Area.... Fuck. I forgot I was naked as well... I quickly turned the shower of and wrapped the first towel I saw around my waist as fast as I could.

"You sure that towel is big enough to cover it up? And you don't have to cover it up." She said smiling.

"I thought you'd leave us alone?" I said throwing a towel at her to cover her naked body.

"And I thought you two would know better than believing me. Especially Rose." She said standing with the towel in her hands not planning on covering anything.

"DANNY?!" I heard a voice shout from downstairs which I recognized as Marks.

"Y-YEAH, GIVE ME A SECOND!" I shouted back starting to panic. What am I supposed to do now?

"Maud, go away now." I said opening the door a little bit.

"No, I kinda like it here." She said dropping the towel to the floor.

"You're a fucking psycho." I hissed opening the door more and trying to push her out. Just when she stepped out of the bathroom Mark came walking up the stairs and saw a naked Maud standing in the doorway and a half naked me standing behind her. Shit. This must look really really bad...

"What's going on here?" Mark asked pure horror clear on his face.

"N-nothing." I stammered not knowing what to do.

"Well it doesn't look like nothing." Mark said not having moved an inch since he saw us.

"No Danny. Mark is right it doesn't look like noting." Maud said smirking.

"YOU HAVE TO KEEP YOUR BIG FUCKING MOUTH SHUT AND FUCK OF RIGHT NOW!!" I screamed at her really losing my temper now.

"Wowowow chill Dan. But he's right I think you should leave..." Mark said.

"I'll leave you two to it. See you next time ey." She said winking and turned around and walked into the bathroom to put her clothes back on. Why did she say that? That made it look even worse!

"I-I can explain!" I said throwing my hands up in surrender.

"You think? Seriously, this is not the Danny O'Donoghue I've know for all those years. I thought you were happy with Rose but what are you doing with her fucking sister now?!" She said disbelief clear in his voice.

"I swear it's not what you think! And you know that I would never do this. Especially you should know that Mark." I said not really believing that he'd think this low of me. I walked to the bedroom and changed into some random clothes and walked downstairs to where Mark had gone. Just when I walked down the stairs I saw Maud walking out the door.

"I hope you're happy now." I said without any emotion to her.

"No. Not yet, I mean we could have done way more in that shower." She replied smiling and closed the door behind her. I sighed in frustration and walked into the kitchen making two cups of tea and took them to the living room where Mark was sitting on the couch with Skyler at his feet.

"I swear it's not what it seems." I said sitting down next to him.

"Danny, I'm coming here and see you standing half naked behind a girl who is totally naked. What am I supposed to think?" He asked looking at me.

"I know that this looks really really bad and maybe it is but not in the way you think!" I said getting desperate now.

"You said you could explain it. Go on then." He said picking up his mug. I started to explain him everything from Rose her past, how Maud wanted to 'meet' me, at the photoshoot, the arguing between Rose and Maud and what just happened. When I finally finished everything it was silence for a moment until Mark said,

"So basically you're saying that she just came her and kind of tried to rape you? You know that that sounds really weird ey?" He said not showing any expression.

"I know, I know. But I swear I'd never do that to Rose." I said dropping my head in my hands.

"Okay, I believe you. You're right I know you for almost all my life and you'd never do that. And, I have to admit that she behaved like a slut, at the photoshoot as well." He said after a minute of silence.

"But you have to admit that it doesn't look right when I see you standing behind a naked girl in the bathroom." He added.

"A naked girl in the bathroom?" I heard another voice say from behind. I turned around and saw Rose standing there with a shocked expression and tears in her eyes.   Shit...
