Danny's pov:

After the moment I thought that Rose squeezed my hand nothing happened again so I think I've just gone mad and imagined it... The only good thing is that they are going to wake her up. I'm currently waiting for her to wake up. She's been in here for two days now and I didn't left her side for a second. Okay, maybe when I had to go to the toilet... But for the rest of the time I was the whole time here at her side. Glen and Laura have tried to get me home to have a shower, some sleep and  eat properly but I just don't want to leave her side. I'll sleep again if she's in my arms, I'll have a shower when she tells me I'm smelly and I'll eat again when she's home with me. I hope that she wakes up soon, but I'm scared as well cause then they're gonna do research if she has any brain damage or something. And what if she has. Will she be able to still live a normal life then?  I decide not to focus on that but on the positive sides...

I just sit there with her tiny hand in mine stroking her knuckles with my thumb, praying that she'll be okay. I hear the door open and close and a nurse walked in who checked on her, like they do every hour. Normally they just leave again when everything's okay without saying a word but this time it was a different girl who asked,

"Not woken up yet?" When she walked in. I just sighed and shook my head, my eyes still focused on Rose.

"I think she's gonna be okay." She said checking her blood pressure.

"How do you know?" I asked looking up this time.

"Gut feeling. And she's strong, and if I had a boyfriend like her I'd wake up as soon as possible." She said smiling. I just smiled back, not a fake smile like I did the last two days but I real one. She gave me hope just by saying what she thinks.

"Thank you." I said.

"For what?" She asked.

"I don't know, you just gave me hope." I said looking at Rose again. She just smiled and walked back out of the room. But just when she opened the door again I felt her hand move in mine, and I'm sure that I didn't imagine it this time cause I saw it as well.

"She's waking up!" I shouted hoping that the nurse from a few seconds ago would hear me and come back.

"What?" She asked when she walked back in the room.

"I think she's waking up! I felt her hand move!" I said again and felt myself smiling like mad.

"Wait a minute I'll get a doctor." She said walking out of the room again. I shuffled closer to her and started talking to her hoping that she'd hear me.

"Come on baby, please wake up. Open those beautiful eyes of ye."

I heard the door open and close again and expected to see a doctor but instead Glen and Laura came walking in.

"What's going on?" Glen asked worried, I think because of the look on my face...

"She's waking up!!!" I replied focusing back on Rose. Laura came standing next to me and just when she did that she opened her eyes.

"Hey gorgeous." I said when I felt tears forming in my eyes. She smiled a weak smile and then the doctor came in.

"Hello mrs O'Connor." He said standing at the other side of the bed.

"We'll leave you a few minutes and then I'll come back to do some tests." He said walking out again. I just wanted to say something but when I opened my mouth the machine who's attached to her heart began beeping like crazy. I didn't even could say anything before glen ran out of the room to get the doctor back. But just when he came walking in again I heard the last sound in the world that I wanted to hear.
