Everyone's running from something but we don't know when it's coming...

~Chapter 6~ Couple?

Danny's pov:

Before Rose came walking in her dog Skyler came first. She ran towards me and jumped against my leg. I laughed at her and kneeled down and stroked her head. I think she liked that cause after a while she fell asleep. I turned around and saw Rose watching me and smiled at me.

''What?" I asked her not knowing why she was smiling.

''Nothing it's just cute you and Skyler.'' She said shrugging.

''You want something to drink?" She asked me while she was walking to her kitchen.

''Yeah, thanks." I replied her.

She came back with our drinks and she said that she was going to change in something comfortable for the film. After a few minutes she came back in grey sweatpants and a white T-shirt. I don't know how she does it, but she still managed to good even in sweatpants. She came sitting next to me on the couch and we put the film on. We watched the rebound, but I couldn't concentrate on the film cause I was thinking about how I needed to tell her that I was falling for her. Man up, O'Donoghue, just tell her when the film ends.  After a while she came closer to me and snuggled herself against me with her head on my chest. I looked down at her and smiled so I started stroking and playing with her hair.

When the film was over she stood up and turned the television off. Okay Dan, just do it now...

"Rose, I need to tell you something..." I said a little bit nervous.

''Okay, spill the beans.'' She said a bit worried.

''Can you please sit down?" I asked her.

''Yeah sure.'' She said and came to sit next to me.

"Well, uhm, look, I don't really know how to say this so I'm just gonna say it.''

"Yeah?" She said looking me straight in my eyes.

''I-I think I'm falling for you..." There I said it. I closed my eyes that I did't have to see her reaction. Suddenly I felt her hands cupping my face and lips pressed against mine. I was a little bit shocked at her reaction but I kissed her back. When we broke apart she said

''I'm falling for you as well, Danny.''

With that a cheeky smile crept up my face. 

"Does that mean that we're together now?" I asked her.

''Yeah, I think so. If you want of course'' She replied.

''Hell yes!" I said pulling her on my lap and kissing her again. 

''Has someone ever told you that you're an amazing kisser?" She mumbled against my lips.

''Thanks, you're not bad yourself.'' I said back to her.

''Danny is it okay if we wait a few weeks with moving in with each other? Cause I don't want to move too fast, you know?'' She said when we broke apart.

''Yeah, of course I problem.'' I said to her. I understood her but I didn't want to wait too long.

''Thank you. But you can stay tonight if you want.''

''Sounds like a plan, I think!" I replied happy.

''Okay, but no funny business all right?" She said laughing but serious at the same time.

''Whatever you want princess.'' I said kissing her neck. 

She snuggled up to me again and we watched another movie. When that one was finished as well we both thought that it was a good idea to go to bed.

Rose's pov:

Wow. I have something with the hottest man on earth. What have I done to deserve this? We went to the bathroom to brush our teeth. When we we're done I shoved him out the bathroom to pee. When I was done I walked back to my bedroom to put my pj's on. But when I came in my bedroom I round Danny looking at the clothes in my wardrobe.

''Danny! What do you think you're doing!?" I was trying to sound serious but failed pretty hard in that. Danny noticed that and didn't reply. He just walked up to me and gave me kiss and said "Sorry babe, I was just curious.'' 

I put my pj's on and went to check on Skyler to see if she was okay for tonight. When I came back to my bedroom I was just in time to see Danny stripping down to his boxers for bed. I quickly walked up to him and slapped his ass. 

''Hey, I thought that you were the one that said no funny business.'' He said with a cheeky smile.

''Yeah I know, but I just could't help myself..'' I said blushing. 

''It's okay I didn't mind, actually.'' He said back which made me blush even more. I walked around the bed and got in. When I lie down Danny came in as well and put his arms around me and pulled me into his chest. I turned around in his arms and gave him a kiss, and put my hand on his chest. He kissed me back and said ''goodnight gorgeous. "goodnight handsome.'' I replied and soon enough I drifted off into a deep sleep, safe in Dan's arms.

A/N

I know it's maybe a bit quick that they're together but I didn't really know how I needed to write while they were apart. And I like them together ;). I hope that you're enjoying my book! bye xx
