Everyone's running from something but we don't know when it's coming...

~Chapter 63~ The end where I begin

*Two years later*

Danny's pov:

These past two years were amazing! We just finished the tour of our fifth album which was just amazing and we already started working on our sixth album. Glen and Laura are married and are now a happy family of four. Rose and I are still doing great and every day I love her even more if that's possible. Liam is just really cute, he started walking and is trying to talk which is super cute. And, last but not least, two weeks ago we got our second child. A cute baby girl named Daisy Rachel O'Donoghue. I can't believe that I became a daddy for the second time!

I was on my way back home from a few drinks at Mark's, I'm always looking forward to get home again cause I get to be with my beautiful wife and cute kids again. When I arrived at home I walked in and quickly took my shoes and coat of before I walked into the living room where I saw Rose sitting on the ground playing with Liam.

"Hey gorgeous." I said sitting next to her and gave her a kiss on her lips.

"Hey babe, how was it at Mark's?" She asked smiling.

"Great, just had some fun. How's my little boy?" I said tickling Liam. He started laughing his adorable laugh and started to make funny noises.

"I take that as great." Rose said smiling and stood up to make dinner. While Rose was preparing dinner I heard Daisy's cries coming from upstairs so I quickly turned the tv on to occupy Liam and rushed upstairs to Daisy. I took her out of her cot and held her against my chest trying to found out what was wrong, but I smelled soon enough what was going on... I lay her down on her dresser and started to change her. When it came to dressing her she was a lot harder than Liam cause he just lay still and let me change him, Daisy is the complete opposite and is moving the whole time and kicking with her little legs but I manage to dress her so it's okay. When she was changed again I put her down in her cot again and started to sing a lullaby. After a few minutes she fell asleep so I went downstairs again. I walked into the kitchen and wrapped my arms around Rose from behind and pressed light kisses against her neck. Suddenly I was interrupted by someone shouting from the living room.

"Dadaaa!"

Rose and I looked at each other and rushed to the living room to see if Liam really just said what we  thought that he said.

"Dada!" He said again when we kneeled down next to him. I couldn't help the huge smile that spread across my face when I heard him say his first real word.

"What's up little boy?" I asked lifting him up and placing him on my lap. He didn't reply to that, not that I expected but still, he just continued to watch the tv like nothing happened. I saw Rose smiling as well before she returned to the kitchen to continue making dinner.

After dinner I went to take Liam to bath while Rose put everything in the dishwasher and had a walk with Skyler. Liam loves Skyler he always tries to play with her and she's okay with it so we just let them cause it's adorable to watch. I filled the small bath making sure that the water wasn't too hot and put him in. It was really cute to see him lying in bath cause he was just relaxing with his eyes close, like Rose would say 'just like his dad.'  When I took him out of bath again I gently dried him of and changed him into his pajamas and let him play for a few minutes before we'd bring him to bed. I went downstairs again and when I came down the stairs Rose walked into the house again. I sat down on the couch and Rose came to sit in between my legs while we watched tv for a few minutes until we decided that it was time to bring Liam to bed. We decided to do that together cause we both loved bringing our kids to bed. When he was sleeping we went downstairs again and Rose took her place in between my legs again. Suddenly she turned around and started to kiss me hungrily on my lips. I immediately responded and before I knew it I was lying on my back on the couch with Rose on top of me. Her hand went underneath my shirt and took it of me while my hands were firmly placed on her butt. I knew that we couldn't go too far cause I mean Rose gave birth to a child two weeks ago so I had to stop myself before I couldn't.

After our make out session we went back to watching tv, I didn't bother putting my shirt back on and I knew that Rose didn't mind so I kept it that way. After half an hour of just watching tv in a relaxed silence Rose went upstairs to have a shower. When she was standing under she shower I heard Daisy cry again, probably ready for her last bottle of the day. I quickly ran upstairs hoping that she wouldn't wake Liam up. I took her in my arms and walked back downstairs, grabbing her bottle and fed her while she was looking at me with her big blue eyes. I smiled at my beautiful daughter in my arms while she was just staring at me. Once she was finished I lay down on the couch and lay her down on my bare chest. 

I realized how lucky I am, I mean I've got the most beautiful wife in the world, two adorable kids, a successful band with five successful albums... I couldn't ask for anything more. My life is complete now, I have everything I could ask for and more. While thinking about all this I felt myself getting tired and fell asleep with a sleeping Daisy on my chest.
