~Chapter 51~ Telling the family

Danny's pov:

Today we're gonna tell our parents that we're gonna marry. I'm a little bit nervous about it but then again I know that Iris is happy when Rose is happy, and, if I have to believe them I'm the one who makes her happy. Iris is still in hospital so we're gonna visit her there and later today we're flying to Dublin to tell my mum and my brothers and sisters.

I'm currently having a walk with Skyler letting Rose pack her things for Dublin. I'm just walking through the park with Skyler walking next to me and sometimes running away to chase after something but then coming back again. When I decided it was time to go back I walked to Laura with Skyler cause she agreed to look after her for a few days when we're going to Dublin. When I arrived at her house I knocked on the door and seconds later Glen opened, they not living together yet but Glen's there most of his time so you can almost say that he's living there. A bit like before Rose moved in with me, she was most of the times at my house then so I understand.

"Hey man!" He said when he saw me standing there.

"Hi!" I replied embracing him in a hug. 

"Excited to tell your family?" He asked opening the door for me to come in. Only Glen, Mark and Laura knew about our marriage cause they helped me planning how to ask her and choosing a ring so we immediately told them when she said yes.

"Yeah but a little bit nervous as well..." I confessed.

"Ah, you don't need to. They love her, she's amazing." Glen said making me a cup of tea.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." I replied. We sat down on the couch with our tea when Laura came walking in.

"Hi Danny!" She said happily when she saw me.

"Hey Laura!" I said laughing at her excitement and stood up to hug her. 

"How's the little one doing?" I asked nodding to her small bump. It's that you know that she's pregnant otherwise you wouldn't see it yet.

"Great, as far as I concern." She replied smiling and walked to the kitchen.

"Excited to become daddy again?" I said winking at Glen and sat down again.

"Oh yeah! It's one of the best things in life, believe me. I really hope that you'll become daddy Danny one day." He said smiling.

"Who knows. But if, I only want kids if it's with Rose." I said and felt myself smiling just at the thought. I finished my tea and decided to go back to Rose cause we still had to go to the hospital to tell her mum and we had to catch a flight. I said my goodbyes to Glen and Laura and stroked Skyler for the last time and walked back home. When I walked in Rose came walking down the stairs with her suitcase.

"Hey babe." She said smiling at put her suitcase on the floor before giving me a kiss.

"Hey gorgeous, ready to go?" I asked.

"Yup." She replied putting her coat on. We got in the car and drove to the hospital. The first few minutes were in silence until she asked,

"Are you nervous to tell your family?"

"A little bit I guess." I said looking at her.

"Yeah me too, but no matter what they think of it I love you. And I only need to tell my mum and I know that she loves you like you're her own son." She replied smiling.

"I love you too." I said taking her hand in mine. For the rest of the journey we talked about random stuff until we arrived at the hospital and we got our of the car and walked into the hospital. We just walked through to her room cause we've been here so many times before that we didn't had to ask where she was.
