"But I don't want to go home!" I whined.
"We're switching families, Elle. We spent a day with my weird family, now it's time to hang out with yours." Ian told me smiling.
"My family hates you."
"Keep thinking that, love."
The drive to my house was a boring one. Ian was smiling and I was glaring out the window.
British Boy is only happy because we left his house before Anna could break out the baby pictures.
My glare turned into a smirk when I remembered the picture in my back pocket.
Miles didn't let me leave without a little humiliation towards his son. He snuck me a picture when Ian wasn't looking. The funny thing is, he even made copies of this picture.
I swear, my dad and Miles would get along perfectly.
Suddenly, my door opened, and Ian was staring at me clearly amused.
"Done looking out the window?" He chuckled.
"For your information, yes I am. My attention is on a picture." I smile, getting out of the car.
"What's the picture of?"
"You." I giggled, wlaking up the path to my front door.
"And?" He pushed.
"And a certain...Doll..." I take the picture out from my back pocket, and wave it in front of his face.
Ian's eyes go wide. "Give it, Elle."
I lean in close. So close, when I talk my lips graze his, and our breaths mingle. "You need to catch me first." I whisper, then peck him on the lips and run away into my house. I look behind me, and see Ian shake his head, then run after me.
"Dad!" I screamed, laughing.
"Give it back, Elle!" Ian yelled behind me.
I run to the kitchen and there's my wonderful parents. Staring at me like I'm crazy.
"Dad guard me! Ian wants my V-card!" I hide behind my laughing father.
"LIES!" My boyfriend yelled, running into the kitchen.
"Elle, we all know you lost that card last week." Dad chuckled.
Mom, drinking a bottle of water, did a spit take and it sprayed all over daddy's face.
"Thank's, Jane." He sighed, wiping the water away from his eyes.
"You heard us?! Sorry. Ian's a screamer." I winked, and mom's eyes went wide.
"Ellody Dawson, stop scarring your parents, and give me the damn picture!" Ian said. "And I am not a screamer! If anyone would be screaming, it's going to be you." He smirked at me.
I narrowed my eyes. "You think so..."
"Don't think. I know. You'll be screaming my na-"
"Eli, make them stop!" Mom yelled, covering her ears.
Dad finished wiping the spit water mom sprayed on him, and he just laughed. "Elle, let me see this picture Ian is freaking out about."
I looked over at Ian, and he was pleading me with his eyes not to show him.
The picture wasn't that bad. If anything, it was cute.
"It's going to stay between Ian and I." I winked at Ian and he smiles back at me. "Let's go downstairs." I walk past Ian, take his hand in mine, and we both go downstairs.
