After the phone call with the rents, everyone decided to hang out at the beach for a little bit. We all went through the trouble of walking down the street to get here, might as well enjoy it.
Nate and the boys were chatting up some British ladies, while Ian and I were walking along the shore, fingers intertwined, and Ian making me smile like the love crazed, hormonal teenage girl I am proud to be.
The sun was setting over the water, sending sparkles across the liquid, and the slight breeze made the air cool. The waves were crashing against the shore, sending a peacful rythym around us.
It's so peaceful here. When we go back home, I'm going to miss this place. England is just amazing, and I love the accents!
"Already your first day here, and I can tell you don't want to leave." Ian chuckled, bringing our hands up to his mouth, but only kissing mine.
"Never. Hopefuly one day, I'll be able to move here. Develope a British accent of my own." I smiled at the thought.
"I love your American accent." He stated.
"I love your British accent."
We stopped walking and had a staring contest for a minute or two. Then Ian spoke, "Now that I think about it, you'd be damn sexy with a British accent." He released my hand, grabbed my waist, and pulled me closer to his chest. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him softly. "I knew you'd say that." I winked.
The rest of the first week passed by in a blur. It was mostly filled with quality family time, but whenever it wasn't family time, Ian and I would try to get some alone time. And not to do the nasty. We just needed more time as a couple, but the guys and Nate wouldn't let us. Everytime we got the slight chance to be alone, one of them would walk into the room screaming, "Guys I found them!" Just like right now.
"Seriously?! Get the fuck out, Sam!" Ian yelled, throwing a pillow at his band mate.
I sighed, and removed myself from Ian's lap. Instead, I put his arm across my shoulders, and cuddled into his side.
"We just want to hang out, mate. We all feel like we haven't seen you in forever." Sam pouted.
Footsteps came running down the hall, and then the rest of the boys showed up, incuding Nate. "What's up, sis." He winked.
"My annoying brother is being a douche." I growled at him. Nate laughed while everyone else flinched at my hard tone.
"You love me, stop being such a sour apple, Elle." He walks into the room, moves Ian away from me, and takes a seat in the middle of Ian and I.
"We were trying to have some alone time." Ian grumbled under his breath, getting up and switching seats so he was next to me again. When he sits, he automatically grabs my hand, and twines our fingers.
"You can lay your girlfriend later! We have a small gig today, and we need you to play guitar." Danny said, sitting on the arm of the couch.
"Ew! Dude, I don't need to know about my sister have sex!" Nate gags.
Ian's hand squeezed my own, and I sent a sly smirk to him.
"Looks as if they have already done the deed." Danny chuckled.
"If so, I'll have to kick Ian's ass." Nate growls.
"Whatever." Ian directed towards my brother, dismissing the awkward subject immediately. Then turned to Danny. "Where's the gig?"
"Down at the local pub. Owner said the place will be packed with rockers."
"When?"
"We have to leave in twenty to reherse." James said.
