I looked out the window of the apartment and saw a layer of snow covering the grass outside, plus more falling in clumps from the sky. I smile and go to the dresser to pull out what I've had tucked away for months.

After I put it in my pocket I walk out to the living room to my lovely girlfriend. "Hey, Elle."

She looks up at me and smiles a smile that made my heart stop. "Hey, baby." She's surrounded by books and papers. Damn girl and her studying. Even with her nose in books, she still looks good. She put on some purple sweats rolled up to her calves and a black long sleeve t shirt.

"Go put some winter stuff on."

Her beautiful green eyes narrow. "Why do I have to do what you say?"

Always so stubborn. "I want to make a snowman."

"Child." She giggles.

"Please! I've wanted to do this for years!"

"Ian, we have to study for finals next week!"

"Studying is boring! Take a break!"

"Fork you! I need to get this internship job! I need a good score on finals, Ian."

Ellody has been dying to get this internship at this one company since the beginning of this year. They've told her if she does good on her finals, they'll let her in. She could have a job straight out of college, and she's been working her ass off studying for these tests.

"I know you do, love. And you will. You've been studying since noon, and two weeks before that. Take a break."

She sighed and thought for a minute before putting the cap on her high lighter and getting up from the floor. She walked up to me, and wrapped her arms around my neck while mine wrapped around her small waist. "Thank you." She whispers, pecking my lips.

"I love you, Elle." I say.

"I love you too."

"Good! Now go get your sexy self ready to build a snowman!" I let go of her, and slap her ass while I walked past her.

"Watch the goods!" She glares playfully while I wink at her.

"Oh I will."

"Pervert."

"You love it." I smirk, walking to the closet to get our coats, hats, gloves, and other shit we need.

The last four years with Ellody have been great. We both are currently at the same college, just taking seperate courses, and we're living together. I knew when we both got accepted to Michigan State, I wanted us to move in together. It was about damn time too! All it took was a few words with her parents, and then telling Ellody, which she agreed. Then we had to spend like a week here in Michigan to find an apartment close enough to campus, then get some people to help us move in. Having a whole place to ourselves is heaven. Plain and simple. We can do whatever the fuck we want, and have whoever the fuck we want over. Our parents visit every other weekend, with my parents bringing Jace and Brooklan with them. They've grown up a lot in the last four years. Jace isn't as irritating, and Brooklan is a little more mature for her age.

As for Elle's brother Nate, he got into Julliard for his music, and has been there for about three years now. He comes to visit whenever he can with the distance and everything, it's not much. But my girlfriend and her brother keep touch with Skype and phone calls every other night.
