Augustus and Alex

----Alex----

Augustus being depressed and bipolar, surprisingly, did not come as a shock to me. I suspected it when I experienced his constant mood swings, but I never really imagined an uncontrollable trigger. And suddenly, I felt the insides of me turn blue, absorbing the sadness Auggie experienced. He went through so much, and I just added onto it. I glanced over at him, and he was watching some girl do stunts on YouTube. I sat down and put my arm around him, and leaned into his shoulder because he smelled good. Like Chinese food. 

----Augustus----

I push Alex off my shoulder, but he still (somehow) is in a deep sleep. He is snoring and I record it, because, memories. 

****slamming on tent****

I briskly get up off of the inflatable bed, and walk towards the tent's zipper. I unzip it, and see the one person I least expected to see: Tammy. 

"You two fruits thought you would have some time alone, didn't you?" He smirked and pushed me out of the way. He kicked Alex and he woke up, startled. 

"Alex, remember what I texted you?" Tammy sat down at the foot of the bed and stared intently at him. 

"No, Tammy, I'm not!" Alex turned hysterical, with tears streaming down his face. He looked so scared, I wanted to cry with him. 

"Um, what's wrong?" I finally ask. Alex is choking on his tears, while Tammy is still sitting there, expecting Alex to change his response. 

"Nothing, freak. Alex, get your a** outside." Tammy left the tent, but leaving Augustus hanging. 

"How did he know we were here?" Augustus questioned. Alex was still shaking and quivering but didn't say anything. 

"Alex! What is going on?" 

"I've been texting him." Augustus's jaw dropped and scratched his head.

"Why would you want to talk to that son of a--" Alex quickly got up and pushed Augustus out of the way so he could go outside.
