----Augustus-----

I can't believe Alex got so mad at me for going to some movie with Joodle. Wasn't he glad I had a friend? Unless he really did care about going to look for Martha. I thought she hated him?

I called Joodle, asking him to cancel the movie plans. To be fair, I did tell Alex I would go with him. Or did he want to come with me? I was too drunk to remember.

I grabbed Lucky from her stable. She was my strongest horse, able to go miles and miles without end. Since neither Alex or I had a car, I guess we had to use Lucky. I grabbed a bag of carrots and created a backpack for myself. I almost forgot my wallet, tucked safely in my closet for emergency purposes. I guess I did need it. I urge Lucky out of my driveway and lead her down the sidewalk. She listens to me after I give her a carrot. Bribery. I already know the way to Alex's house, it's adorably small and cute. I was driving past his home after doing some community service in Tracken.

I reach Alex's home and it looks trashed. I feel sympathetic, no wonder he is always so moody. Nothing feels right for him. I get off Lucky and silently tell him to stay. He listens, horses love me. I walk toward their door and carefully ring the doorbell. I'm afraid it'll fall off.
Alex opens the door, and gasps. I guess he's surprised to see me. His hair is everywhere and he looks pretty tired.
"er... Hi Alex" I smile for him and he smiles back.
"um, hi" he says back. He gestures for me to come inside and I do. Yep, his house is trashed. But somehow, it's beautiful. He turns red when I look around.
"Your house is pretty great. I wish I could live here." His eyes turn big and he laughs.
"Oh, sure. Move out of that mansion for this dumpster."
"The 'mansion' is super empty. I feel pretty lonely sometimes. Why don't you move in?" I immediately realized what I said after I saw Alex blush.
"errr... don't go too far Auggie." He stifled a laugh and grabbed a backpack.
"Do you have a license or something to drive us?" He asks. I shake my head no and point towards Lucky.
"We're taking the horse." Alex laughs and gets back onto his feet. He gets on top of Lucky and gestures for me to do the same.
"You take a tent?" he asks me. He takes a sleeping bag out of his backpack and readjusts it.
"Yeah. I can't afford living in a hotel everyday. Doesn't seem like an adventure to me."
"Oh, Auggie. There is a chance we'll get killed in the middle of the night."
"I know. But we can karate chop him or something. It'll be fine."
And with that, we rode away.
