Alex turned red, remembering that day Tammy scribbled all over it. 'God I am making the worst impression on her.'  Alex thought to himself.
"I don't know Ma.." Augustus turned around and glared at Alex, who flashed him a cheeky smile. Alex decided to stay silent, he didn't want another mom hating him. Augustus's Mom shot Alex another glare and walked away.

"well Augustus let's go play with yo--" "You won't ever shut up, will you?" Alex looked up in surprise, to see that Augustus's face had turned red. "What is your problem? What do you even want with me?" Augustus turned redder and Alex genuinely became terrified. "I--" "No. You should just go home, leave this with me." Alex watched Augustus walk over to the bench and start writing. God, he messed up. No, no, no, no, no. His eyes started to dart around, to find something-anything. There he saw it. Hay. He ran over and grabbed a pile. He sneaked behind Augustus and threw it onto his head. Immediately he started to giggle, and he fell onto the grass when he couldn't control his laughter anymore.
"ALEX?!" Alex looked up to see Augustus, with hay sticking out of his hair. Alex started to turn red from laughing too much, and started to choke on his own spit. Augustus smirked and grabbed the hay out of his hair. He ran over to Alex and stuffed it into his jacket. Alex turned around in surprise, causing all the hair from his hood to fly everywhere. "OUCH!" Alex ran up to Alex, who seemed to have something wrong with him. "um you OK" "no I have hay in my eye Alex" Augustus smirked and attempted to get the hay out, however failed. Alex laughed and leaned in really close to get a good look at Augustus's eye.

"oh my God oh my God I can feel his beautiful breath on me oh my God,"  Augustus thought to himself. Alex took out the hay from the eye but continued to stare into Augustus's deep, blue eyes. Augustus started to blush, he could feel his hair turning red.

"AUGGIE!" Augustus turned his head around to face his grandma, whacking Alex with his hair in the process. "IT'S TIME FOR YOUR FRIEND TO LEAVE I NEED YOU TO HELP ME KNIT." Augustus turned around and awkwardly shook Alex's hand. "Don't worry about the project," Augustus began, "I'll work on it." Alex grinned but shook his head. "No way. I'll come over tomorrow to help." Alex grabbed his backpack and leaned over to his ear. "You are such a distraction," he whispered. Alex walked past, smiling. He suddenly turned around and waved goodbye. "BYE! SEE YA TOMORROW!" Augustus waved back and put his hand into his pockets, thinking to himself. "Yes," he thought, "that'll be nice."
