Invisible

Unexpected text message

I wake up to the sound of a loud irratating buzzing noise, I groan and pull the covers above my head trying to block it out.

'Shut up already' I groggily say as the buzzing noise continued, after a few moments later it finally stopped. I slowly pull the covers off of me reaching out to find my phone underneath my pillow, I have one unread message so I quickly tap on the message icon to read it, with one eye open I read:

'I'm comin 2 school today, sorry for not keeping in contact with you lately, I'll explain everything I promise! C u there' I finish reading the message and I frown in confusion, I sit up right and move all my hair out of my face and re read the message once more, a sudden rush of excitement comes over me, I guess she is coming to school today.

I look around the room and see that small rays of light were coming into the room through the curtains, 'oh sh-t' i cussed under my breath rememebering I had to get to school early today. I jump out of bed walking over to the curtains sliding it open and the lights began to blind me.

I slowly walk into the bathroom while rubbing both my eyes trying to regain back my vision. I stand in front of the mirror in the bathroom with a finger on my lip looking at myself up down deciding on what I should wear to school today but firstly I had to start with my daily routine, I tied my hair up in a messy high ponytail and I washed my face with my clearisal daily wash as usual. Now time to work on my face, I rubbed face cream all over my cheeks and forehead, after that I applied mascara to my lashes and used baby lips lip balm.

I looked back at my reflection and I felt happy about how I looked, so that was enough for me, I don't really wear makeup and I don't really use it as much anyways. I take my hair out from the ponytail and I brush out my hair to untangle all the tangles in my hair, I decided to just simply leave my hair out as I was too lazy to style it. I walk back into my room opening my closet and I start looking through what outfit I should wear, after 5 minutes of deciding what to wear, my mind finally came to a decision.

I slipped on a collared sleeveless white blouse and wore a light grey-ish over sized knit sweater over it, I put on some black leggings and paired them up with my white nike high-tops. I grab my bag and phone from my room and finally made my way downstairs, I was expecting to see my mom in the kitchen cooking breakfast for my younger brother but I guess she wasn't up yet. I decided to leave a note on the kitchen counter explaining why I had to leave for school early, I wouldn't want my mom worrying about me. 

After 20 minutes of walking, I've finally made it to school. I walk through the hallway just casually looking around trying to find people to conversate with, unfortunately I couldn't find a single student to talk to while I kill some time before I head to the office. I finally gave in and I decided to make my way straight to the principles office, right before I could knock, the door flew right open and a boy I've never seen in my life stood in front of me smiling.
