Laura's P.O.V*

Crap. It's Wednesday today.

This is the exact reason why I need to have my phone with me at all times or else I get lost in time.

I continue to walk straight past the apartments with Claire, I've always been walking past these apartments on the way to school and then back home for the past years but why is it that I've never really payed attention to it.

'Don't you think it's strange that we always walk past those apartments back there but we never really payed much attention to it?' I ask looking over at Claire.

'Yeah true. Probably because we're too busy talking and we never really look at it. It looks really posh. You know. The kind of apartments that only rich people stay in' She replies back.

'Mmmhmm. Well I'll see you tomorrow. I gotta head home quickly to grab my phone and then it's off to the cafe' I say as I give her a quick hug.

'Ok, see you then. Have fun working' She says turning the other way.

On the way back home my walk slowly turned into a slight jog, I don't wanna be late for work. I work in a local cafe shop around where I live, I've been working in Caffe Luxx for nearly a year, I started at the beggining of the year and I'm really enjoying it. My shifts on Wednesday aren't really that long. The cafe closes at 5 but I stay until 8 preparing everything for the next day. But on Sundays, I wake up earlier because I go for my early morning jog before I head off and I work until 3 and sometimes even 4 depending how busy it is at the cafe.

At times it would be pretty deserted, I mean Star Bucks were just down the road and people would sometimes prefer it. I guess the only reason why I worked was that I could help out with my parents even though it's only Luke and I left, I still want to help out with paying for the groceries and what not.

Back when Rayna and Justin were still living in the house and before Justin moved out and before Rayna left to work over seas in Canada, they would work and help pay for the groceries and sometimes even with the bills.

I don't always want to depend on my parents for paying every single thing for me, I wanted to help out too. I don't even have a car yet but I do have a drivers license, I'm just thankful that my dad would pick up from work every Wednesdays since it was too dark out for me to be walking alone around the streets.

I finally reach the door steps and without knocking, the door opens with Luke standing there with my phone in his hands.

'You forgot this' He says handing me it.

'Thanks. But wait. What were you doing in my room?' I ask

'I wanted to play on your laptop' He simply says. 'And no I didn't mess up your room. Even go check'

'No, I gotta go for work remember? Remind dad to pick me up and tell him I said sorry for making him have to pick me up all the time' I say taking my bag off my bag and giving it to Luke.

'And by the way. You got two text message I think' He says holding my bag

'Ok thanks for telling me. I gotta go. Byeee' I quickly say.

I then take my phone out of my pocket to have a quick look at the time and to check the text messages Luke told me about. Wow 3:15, that's not bad.

'We should hang out sometimes. When your not busy or anything' I smile as I read Rayne's text message.

'Sure why not :)' I reply back smiling idiotically.

I tap on the other message from Louis saying something about Youtube and the song Hallelujah. I look at his message confused. Oh well... I'll check it out once I get home.
