Laura's P.O.V*

I hit the snooze button on my phone as I let out a groan. By now it would just be 7:00, maybe if I close my eyes for another 10 minutes it wouldn't hurt right?

'Wanna know a secret?' Rayne says as he puts his phone down.

'Secret? It wouldn't be a secret anymore until you tell someone' I reply back trying to hold back my laugh.

'Exactly' He says as he looks down and back up to me.

His eyes meet mine, and he was slowly leaning in, I couldn't help but lean in too.

'Laura!' I hear Liam call out making the both of us pull away.

'I-'

My eyes open and it feels like I was forgetting something. I look around the room and my curtains were open. My eyes widen and I quickly sit up right and I grab my phone to have a quick look at the time. I said to myself that I would take a 10 minute nap, but that 10 minute nap turned into an hour and half sleep. It was already 8:30 and I'm still in bed. If I get changed quick, I think I might make it.

I get out from my bed and I head over to my dresser and a purple sleeve from a hoodie was sticking out. There's no time to think over what I'm going to wear. I slip on the purple oversized hoodie and black leggings and I slip on my blue vans. I quickly go into the bathroom and I tie my hair up into make shift ponytail to get my hair out of my face and I start to wash my face and straight after that, I brush my teeth. I let out a sigh if frustration as water splashes onto the sleeve. I should've brushed my teeth and washed my face before I got changed.

Who cares. I don't wanna be late to school. I brush out the knots in my hair and I simply leave my hair out and I apply mascara before I head back to my room grabbing my bag.

'Mom!' I call out as I run down the stairs. 'Can you drive me to school please? I woke up late'

I walk into the kitchen and into the living room and my mom was no where to be seen. Oh crap, she must've already dropped off Luke.

I close the door behind me and I quicken my pace. I take my phone out of my pock- oh wait. I look through my bag and double check my pockets. I let out a sigh of frustration followed by a face palm, I must've left it on my bed. How was I suppose to check the time now?

I see a figure walking a few metres ahead of me, this was definitely a dude. Maybe he knows the time. I quicken my pace to try catch up with him. Bad idea, I shouldn't. How about if its someone really creepy? I should over take him I think to myself. I quickly walk past him but then I feel myself get caught, the stranger gripped their hand around my wrist stopping me.

A yelp escapes my lip but then he cups his hand over my mouth and I begin to panic and my cry for help turns into a muffled sound pulling me towards him.

'Shhhh' I hear the stranger say. 'It's fine. I got you' He says. His voice sounded familiar.

I could feel myself slowly beginning to calm down.

He un cups his hand from my mouth and he turns me around. I look up to face him.

I could feel my eyes well up in tears, my heart was beating so fast.

'I hate you! Don't do that' I say as I let my tears roll freely down my face. 'I thought you were someone else. I was freaking out'

'I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you' He says as he wraps his arms around me.

'Well you did. What were trying to do anyways?' I say as I continue to cry in his arms.

'I don't know. I'm sorry...I saw you walking and I wanted to do those dramatic scenes you would see in a movie. But I guess it didn't work' He replies back in a sorry tone.
