Getting to know one another

~Next Day: Tuesday~

Laura's P.O.V*

I let out a yawn as I sit on my seat staring down at my cerial. I seriously didn't get that much sleep last night, I ended up falling asleep at 11 and I woke up at least 3 times in the middle of the night and all I could think of was either Rayne or Liam.

'MOM! Laura's been staying up late again. She's been yawning for the past five minutes' Luke says as he takes a scoop of cerial and popping it into his mouth.

'Pssshhh. No I haven't' I say and then letting out another yawn.

'What did I say? I always tell you to not stay up late, you end up skipping breakfast' My mom says as she walks up behind me patting my head.

I let out a groan rubbing my eyes, by now I my mascara that I applied earlier would've been already messed up.

'C'mon, eat up. You've been just sitting here for the past fifteen minutes staring at your cerial' She says as she lift the spoon up from my bowl.

'I can do it. I'm not a baby anymore' I say grabbing the spoon from her.

I slowly eat my cornflakes popping it into my mouth forcing it down. I'm too tired to eat but I kinda have to. Like what everyone says... Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I roll my eyes at the thought and I quickly shove my last spoonful of cerial in my mouth.

I sluggishly make my way towards the door with my bag slingged onto my bag and with my phone in the pocket of my black skinny jeans. 'Bye, I'm going now' I call out before I close the door behind me.

The walk to school was longer than usual, I was too tired to even bother checking the time on my phone and to even bother about my cracked screen. By the time I reached the school gates the first warning bell already went off. My first class was science. I take my time walking to class and by the time I walked in, the second bell rang signifying the start of first period. Right on time I thought to myself as I take a seat at the back of the room beside Liam and Jenny.

'What happened to you? You look... terrible' Jenny says looking over to me.

'I knowwww' I say as I lay my head on the cold hard desk with my eyes slowly fluttering close.

'What do you mean? She looks perfectly fine' Liam says

'See, I look fine' I say as I begin to close my eyes, I could feel myself drifting off.

'Woah, Laura. Wake up, you'll get caught sleeping' Liam says as he softly shakes my shoulder trying to wake me up.

I wasn't sleeping yet, but I could feel myself slowly drfiting off soon. I keep my eyes close ignoring him and I fold my arms on the table burying my head in it.

'Don't worry about it. She does this at times, and plus the teacher doesn't really seem to pay attention to us anyways. He usually pays attention to the naughty people in class' I hear Jenny say to Liam and that was the last bit I heard until everything was dark.

'Wait! Laura, I need to tell you something' Liam says as he grabs onto my wrist. He turns me around so I was now facing him.

The hallways were surprisingly empty, well that's probably because everyone was in there classes by now.

'Yeah, I need to tell you something too' I say as I look down at my feet. 'I've been looking for you'

'Well, I'm here. You found me' He says as he lifts my chin up.

I look back into his brown chocolate eyes as they look back into mine.
