Invisible

New students

'Um, I'm here to um see Mr Hales' I say hesisatantly not really sure what to do, I step back a tiny bit and the boy frowned.

'Weellll, first of allI like your accent! Second of all Mr Hales said he'll be back shortly and third of all, the names Louis, nice to meet yah' he replied back while reaching out his hand.I gladly shook it but before I knew it, he pulled me in a hug and let go after a few seconds later.

'Um hey' I say smiling but still confused , 'I'm Laura, so I'm guessing you're one of the new students' I continue while taking out the folder and papers that were given to me yesterday out of my bag.

'Why yes, I am. The other lads just went out a for a walk not long ago, we can both wait here in the office if you like' he replied back while making his way to one of the seats.

I follow right behind him making my way to the other seat facing the opposite seat he was sitting in, I awkwardly fiddled with my fingers thinking whether if I should start a friendly conversation or just let time slowly pass by while we wait for the rest of the other students to come back, another thought came to mind, I just met the one and only Louis from One Direction, girls would kill to be in my position, a huge smile came across my face.

'What are you thinking of that's making you smile so much?' he asks, I look up at him and begin to stutter not really knowing how to reply back, he must've been watching me the whole time.

'Um, I-I nothing.. I just can't believe I'm sitting in the same room as you, I swear girls would hate me so much for this' I say while trying to hold back a small giggle and I look down at my hands again feeling heat rising up my cheeks.

It felt like the whole room felt silent, neither me or Louis made a sound, my head went blank and it felt like I didn't need to say anything else. After a short moment of silence Louis spoke up, well more like bursted into a loud laughter that filled the silence of the whole room. I look up from my hands and watched as Louis's face completely went red, I frown in confusion.

'What? What's so funny? Why are you laughing' I ask while trying to hold back my laughter, his laugh was contagious I had to give in, before I knew it we were both laughing and I never got the answer to my question.

'Are we interrupting something here' an unfamiliar voice called out.

Louis and I must've been laughing too loud to even notice that the door was now open and there stood Mr Hales with the four other students standing behind him staring at me and Louis. I quickly sit up from my seat and Louis cleared his throat before speaking.

'Oh sorry Mr Hales, Laura and I were just sitting here and before we knew it, we started having a fit of  uncontrollable laughter' I could see that Louis was trying to hold back his laughter bcasue a big smile came across his face and I couldn't help but smile too.

Mr Hales just nodded and made his way towards his desk, the rest of the boys just stood awkwardly at the door while Louis remained in his seat laughing. 'May I have the folder that Ms Mane gave to you?' he asked.

I handed him the folder and he began skimming through the papers that were in it, he nodded handing it back to me and explained what I had to do, as he explained I just nodded my head trying to remember every single thing he had said. The folder contained the timetables of the boys which I had to give to  them later after I show them around the school and as for the papers Mr Hales gave me, he explained that I had to give it to their teachers for each subject. Simple enough I thought to myself, all I had to do is show them around school during the first period, help them find their classes and make them feel welcomed. Easy enough right?
