Riley's POV
I was in the lab, working on a copy of the Kraang were after when Donnie came in. "Hey Riley, I'm really worried about April and I was hoping that you could maybe talk to her?" "Why do you think she'll talk to me? We barely even know each other." I reply. "Tell her you want to get to know her then. " "Ok I'll talk to her. But you owe me."
I'm at Anderson's Bakery where I'm supposed to meet April when she shows up. "Hey April, I'm so glad we're doing this today." She smiles at me. "Thanks, but knowing the guys one of them probably asked you to check on me. Let me guess Donnie, right?" I was stunned. "How did you know that?" I ask in wonder. She laughs. "For starters I'm a mental genius, second I'm not sure if you know this but Donnie had a huge crush on me a long time ago. I'd be lying if I said I didn't like him back a little bit. But for a long time I would desperately try to avoid talking about it. I knew Donnie loved me, even when Casey began arguing with him for my feelings, but I couldn't do anything about it. It was almost like a game to me. But when Donnie was in my shoes and decided to leave me alone after I turned him down, I kissed him."
Hearing all this shocked me, but it wasn't news to me. Leo and Raph had told me all of this when Donnie and I started dating. "When Casey and I got married I was surprised that Donnie agreed to come..." She continued. "But anyway that's enough about that. I'm sure Donnie asked you to check on me because of what happened at the fight against the Kraang the other day." "Well, yeah. Everyone is worried about you." "Well I'm fine, but it's good news. I actually found today that Casey and I are expecting a baby." She begins to cry. "I'm sorry, it's just that I really miss my mom. The Kraang took her when I was a little girl and I don't want my baby to grow up not knowing their grandmother. I'm sure she's still alive somewhere. Riley, please help me find her. I want you to ask Bishop to interrogate Sub-Prime before he's punished by the Utrom Council. He knows where she is I'm sure of it. Please help me find her."
