Riley's POV
I'm engaged to a genius of a ninja turtle! Those were the thoughts running through my head constantly. It was just so exciting and a dream come true.
Daddy and Papa have given Donnie their blessings for our engagement. Ultimately Donnie and I decided to wait until we each both finish school to get married. Papa is trying to convince me to go to the prison where my birth father Richard is serving a life sentence for murdering my mother to tell him about my engagement.
I really don't like going there but Fathers Day is just around the corner, I'll go then. Raph is getting better all the time but he's still very bitter about the whole Mona thing.
"Riley come on, we're going to the pet store today. Remember?" Donnie asked. "I remember. Achoo!" I had been suffering from a cold all week and I still wasn't feeling well. "Ok I'm going without you Riley. You're too sick."
Donnie and Mikey left for the pet store and returned a few hours later. "There you guys are. What took you so long?" Leo asked. "Well we went to the pet store and then we went to Murukami's. After that we brought pizza gyoza to April and Casey." Mikey replied. "Raph! Get in here!" He yelled. "What do you want Mikey?!" Raph came into the room with Chompy on his shoulder.
"Raph, meet Spike Jr!" Mikey takes out a box turtle and hands it to him. "Uh Mikey, I think Spike Jr is a Spiketta." I pointed out to him. After explaining how I know that Spiketta was female, everyone comes over for an engagement party at the lair. Leo raised his champagne glass.
"I'd like to make a toast. To Riley and Donnie. May your lives be forever filled with happiness!" "Cheers!" Everyone else responded. "A new life, new friends, and one big happy family. I didn't think life could get much better than it was when I started college. But I guess when you get saved by a genius of a ninja turtle in purple wielding a bo staff, life can surprise you. And I wouldn't have it any other way." I whisper to Donnie, kissing him in my embrace.
