The world spun, and my chest was filled with a clenching pain. As I keeled over slowly, I could feel my heart's fluttering rhythm. I knew enough about medicine to know that I was going into cardiac arrest.

"SAKURA! SAKURA! Get over here now, Kaiyo's heart is stopping!"

But Sasainako still wasn't dead so a genjutsu-enraptured Yamato was keeping the younger ninja away from us.

Kakashi had his hand on my throat, feeling my pulse, "Shit." I hadn't even noticed when he came over to me. He took a deep breath and started talking himself through CPR, "Alright Kakashi, she's not breathing and her heart is fibrillating, what do you need to do first?" He did some chest compressions and breathed for me, but it did nothing to help.

He took a deep breath, "I'm really sorry, Kaiyo, but I need to be in direct contact with your skin for this to work." In my oxygen deprived mind, I wasn't even able to comprehend what he was saying. I was barely awake.

Kakashi tore off my shirt in a single movement. If I was in full control of my body, I would have killed him right then and there, but I was pretty much having a heart attack. The world looked like I was viewing it through a fish-eye lens, and the colors were oddly vibrant.

There were three Kakashis dancing in front of my vision as he did a quick jutsu to get his hands wet and then placed one on my left, upper chest and the other on the right side of my ribs under my arm. "Alright, direct contact, check. And then proper electrode placements, well I'm using my hands instead, but check. Find the right rhythm, check, I hope. Okay, so finally, the correct voltage." Now there were five Kakashis and the world was a kaleidoscope, and I was on the very edge of consciousness. All five Kakashis closed their eyes and took a deep breath, "Three... Two... One... Clear." He activated his lightening change in nature, and the electric shock racked my body. He repeated it again. The darkness started to creep over my vision even more. At this rate I was definitely going to die. Why couldn't I outlast a single old lady? If I had simply managed to keep the gates open until she had died, then Sakura would have been able to save me with her medical ninjutsu. But no, here I was dying because an old lady had more vitality than I. "Clear." This time I didn't hear the count-down. In fact, I have idea how many times he jolted my heart rate.

Kakashi put his fingers to my throat again to check for my pulse, and with a smile he passed out cold.

A/N: I actually did a lot of research on how defibrillation works before I wrote this. It's really cool.
