Noelle's P.O.V

Ever since I got the call from him I've been on edge. How did he find me? When he rushed me off the phone I had no idea why. Branson had a,ways been so calm and collected. I went up to the twin's room,kissing each of their foreheads. This might be the last time I'll ever see them. I wiped away a stray tear and walked out toward the park,thinking of my babies. This was for them.

Right before I got to the park I got a call.

"Yes?"

"RUN,NOELLE!!!" He screamed through the phone.

"What?"

"RUN!"

That was when I looked up and coming out of the trees was a big red wolf. A rouge,I smelled. I quickly hid behind a tree and sprinted off towards my home. For a while I thought I wasn't being followed,but when pain erupted from my mid section I looked to see the rouge right on my heels.

I shifted and  tried to mind link Kane,but failed. Breathing heavily,I made my way around to the pack house;It seemed miles away. I felt its claws graze my side and I cried out in pain,looking down at the three slashes. All of the sudden the rouge let out a loud whimper and I had the courage to look back seeing a large brown wolf attacking it. I recognized the Alpha immediately. Alpha Brenson. I gasped. He was the one that called me and told me to run,but why?

He took down the rouge easily and shifted,facing me.

"Noelle,I'm so sorry." He said in a hushed tone.

"What are you doing here?" I asked,cautiously.

"I was angry when I found out about you. I hired him to kill you,but I found my Mate and realized what I was doing was wrong and I apologize."

"Who's your Mate?"

"Boo Bear?! Where are you?" Came a familiar voice.

"Over here,Sweetheart." He replied,grabbing spare cloths from behind a tree.

Lilly pushed through the brush and spotted me,frowning. "Luna? What are you doing here? Oh my,God what happened to you?! We must get you to the doctor!"

Kane's P.OV
When I got the call I was watching our children play with their new toys. They were so adorable,playing with each other. Thank the heavens that Miracle had gain a few ounces thanks to her special formula. When the phone rang I answered it. Lilly's frantic voice greeted me saying,

"Kane,it's Lilly! Something happened to Luna;she's in the hospital!" A wave of fear crashed in to me. What had happened to my Little One?

"I'm on my way!" I said to her,calling for Catherine to watch over the children. I sprinted towards the pack hospital since it wasn't far. The worst of possibilities of an through my head one at a time,Isaiah was going crazy and I felt useless. I reached the pack hospital in a matter of minutes,bursting through the doors. A nurse walked up to me and bowed in respect.

"Luna is in room 243." She says.

"Thank you." I replied,racing to the elevators. I willed the machine to go faster,but reminded myself I didn't have the force. As soon as the doors opened I sprinted out,making my way to the room she was in. I stepped inside and saw that she was sleeping. Other than a few cuts on her face she looked fine. What happened?

She frowned and opened her eyes,smiling when she saw me. I rushed to her side and immediately started to question her.

"What happened? Are you hurt? Where were you? Who brought you here? Are you feeling okay?"

She looked at me like I was a crazy man. "You need to calm down,Kane. 1.)I was attacked by a rogue-"

"WHAT?!"

"Let me finish!" She snapped at me. "I'm fine,I was at the park,Lilly and her Mate did,I'M FINE."

"Did it hurt you?"

"Just a few scratches is all."

"Let me see them." I insisted,already lifting up the hospital blanket. I took in a deep breath when I saw the stitches. Three long jagged cuts were placed on the flawless skin of her right side. I was trying to keep Isaiah at bay,telling him that we'd hunt down and kill the rouge that did his to her. "Where is the rouge? Do you know?"

"Yes. Alpha Brenson took care of him."

Brenson? "Where is he?"

"Most likely in the waiting room with Lilly."

"Well,I'm not leaving your side for one moment now. You've got yourself in a pickle,dear." I smiled.

"Well,at least I went on an adventure while you were doing...whatever you were doing which was probably very boring....Sweetie."

I rolled my eyes at her and kissed her forehead. We'd had a close call today and it was my fault for not keeping her safe. It was a mistake I would NEVER make again.

Noelle's P.O.V
Today was a close call and judging by the way I said Brenson's name Kane knew him. Of  course he did. All the Alphas knew one another...that's why it happened. I shuttered at the memories I almost forgot. I had never seen Kane at the auction.
That made me smile.
He was always so modest. What would Lilly do when she found out about what Brenson did to me. No! She couldn't find out;she wouldn't. I'm sure Brenson would make sure of that.
