Twenty Three|Oops

It is a surprise to me that I'm writing this chapter the way I am....

Caiden's P.O.V

How did I know she was going to find out? She had answered only two of the seven texts I sent her and didn't respond to any of my five calls. She was mad and it was my fault. When I got home I unpacked all my things,took a shower and hopped in my truck to see my Mate. I hadn't seen her in a month and it was killing me. She had called me a week ago and told me everything. She didn't sound mad on the phone, but women are complicated, but in all fairness they probably think we are too sometimes.

I pulled up in the driveway and sat there for a few minutes, closing my eyes and sighing while rubbing my face. This was it. I was getting Rejected. A pounding on the window scared me shitless. I looked over to see none other than Alpha Kane. I gulped and rolled down the window. I was a dead man.

"Yes, Sir?" I asked.

"You just gonna sit there, Son?" He raised his eyebrows.

"I was mentally preparing myself for Rejection,Sir."

He sighed. "My Miracle would never do that to you. She may be upset, but she'd never Reject you for it."

"Thank you, Sir." I said, shutting off the engine and getting out. We walked inside together and went to the kitchen where Luna Noelle was. I was talking with Alpha Kane when I turned my head to see her. "Yeah I-WHAT THE HELL?!" They burst into laughter. Luna wiped happy tears from her eyes. "Luna, you look stunning." I said, hugging her.

"Doesn't she?" Came the angelic voice of my Mate from behind me. I turned to find the spitting image of her mother, but a little cuter...smaller. "Miracle, I-"

"Save it." She growled, grabbing the collar of my shirt and pulling me down for a heart stopping kiss. No longer were her lips cold, but they were warm and ten times more inviting. I just couldn't get enough of my Little One. I had always loved kissing her, but this...this was so much better. "I missed you." She whispered into my lips.

"I missed you too, Little One." I smiled, grabbing her waist and twirling her small body in the air,not breaking the kiss. She pulled away and her laughter rang throughout the room. It was contagious,like a child's. I felt the weight in my chest disappear entirely...until Bane walked in, that is.

"Well, look who it is. My friend, Caiden." He spat. "You left my sister."

"Look, man, I was trying to save her."

"And you didn't take the time to examine and see if it was what you thought it was. By the way, Dad, I found who cursed Mom."

"Who?!" Alpha Kane growled, slipping his arms around his Mate. I did the same.

"Meghan."

Noelle's P.O.V

"Who?" I asked.

"The one who said you were not fit to be a Luna." Kane growled. The memory suddenly came to me.

My feet seemed light that day. Even though Kane wasn't with me I felt good and safe. Lilly and I were playing Scrabble when we heard a knock on the door. When she got up to answer it,a woman walked in and glared at me. She was talk in her Stiletto heels,reaching almost to Kane's height. Her eyes were black,showing that her monster was out. Her hair was black and long enough to reach just below her bottom. She wore a see through blue tank top,revealing her neon pink bra with tight lime green daisy duke shorts,pushing up her butt cheeks. It was kind of disgusting to look at. Her top did NOT match her shoes or her pants.

"You're her?" She asked. "Pathetic! You're so tiny and weak! You don't deserve the title of Luna;you don't deserve any title for that matter! YOU STOLE HIM FROM ME! You stole my Mate,my title and my glory! I outta KILL you!" She screeched.

"How DARE you?!" Shouted a familiar voice. It was Kane-No. It was Isaiah! He was angry! "How DARE you threaten your Luna?!" He shouted,grabbing her by the throat. I screamed and tears fell down my face. He was going to kill her.

"That was Meghan?" I asked.

"Yes." Kane growled.

"She must have written a fake prophecy book that had my name in it too, but how did she know I was pregnant?"

"I have no idea, but we need to find her and I'm going to kill her!" Kane spat.

"Kane!"

"Daddy!" Miracle and I said at the same time.

"Fine! I'll banish her." He was on edge and the only thing that would help both of us was quality time together.

"You need to calm down. Come on." I said, grabbing his hand and leading him out of the kitchen.

"I think you're getting me all worked up, baby." He said.

I could just feel Miracle rolling her eyes while both boys wolf whistled after us. I was going to calm my Mate and they can't say anything about it.

Miracle's P.O.V

After my Bane left to go to dinner at Evie's house and my parents went to the Pack Hotel it was just Caiden and I. He looked at me and took my hands in his, kissing them.

"I'm sorry, Miracle. I thought I was helping, but I was hurting you instead. I promise not to keep anymore secrets from you, okay?"

"Okay." I whispered. "Caiden...I have to tell you something."

"What is it?"

"I graduated a few days ago."

"What?! But you're a Junior."

"I was so advanced that they gave me the end of the year Senior test and I passed so I got to graduate." I smiled.

"Is Bane still in school?"

"Well, it's summer now." I teased.

"You know what I mean." He said, rolling his eyes.

"He still has to go to school, yes."

"Well, look at you. I got myself one smart cookie." He said, kissing me.

"I'm ready, Caid."

"Ready for what?"

"I'm ready to Mate with you."

"Y-You are?" He asked.

"Well, I missed you and we're both done with school also it's about time you became Alpha." I blushed.

"Well, alrighty then." He said, slinging me over his broad shoulder and giving my butt and smack.

"Ow, Caid." I laughed, smacking his.

"Oh, baby." He grinned, running up the stairs to my room, throwing me on the bed. "I love you, Little One."

"I love you too, Alpha."
