Miracle's P.O.V

"Daddy..."

"Well,Mir, it was nice knowing you. Your father is going to kill me now." Caid said, lowering his head in submission to my father.

"Daddy, I invited him! He didn't want to come, but I-"

"Stop. Don't wanna hear it. I'm going to give Caid about five seconds before I shift and rip off his-"

"That's enough, dear." My mom said, coming up behind him and putting a hand on his shoulder. "Would you like some hot chocolate, Caiden?"

"This boy tried to take out daughter's innocence and you offer him hot chocolate?! What's wrong with you, woman?!"

"Watch it, Kane. If I recall, you had no problem taking MY innocence. It is the natural part of werewolves so you are just going to have to suck it up." My mother said.

"We were just saying on how we weren't ready to Mate yet!" I told them.

"Why the hell not?" My mom asked.

"Because we want to finish school."

"Meh." My mother said, leaving to fix the drinks.

"If it weren't for your mother I would-"

"I know." I told him, grabbing Caid's hand and leaving my room. We made our way down the stairs to the kitchen where my mum was poring steaming hot water into the coco powder. The second they collided the scent of chocolate invaded my nostrils, making me breathe in the wonderful smell. "It smells like heaven." I told her.

"Well, be careful drinking this heaven cuz it's hot as hell." My mom chuckled at her own wit.

"Gee, mom, if you were any smarter we'd think you were in cahoots with the Moon Goddess." She chuckled and gave us each a mug of hot chocolate before anouncing that she and dad were off to bed, not without a protest from him that is.

"How can we leave two teenagers, Mates no less, alone together?! You saw what th at were doing! I de-"

"Oh, hush up, Kane." She told him, pushing him up the stairs to their bedroom while Caid and I chuckled.

"Your parents are something else, you know." He said, taking a sip out of his mug.

"I know they are." I nodded, doing the same. I feared back when the scortching hit drink hit my tongue. I put the mug down and quickly went to get a bottle of water, downing it in one huge gulp.

"Is it hot?' Caid asked, chuckling.

"Shut up." I laughed,standing next to him and putting my hands on his shoulders while he sipped his hot coco. He put his left arm around my wait and pulled me closer to him, putting his head on my chest. I slid my hands down his back, massaging the tense muscle. "Nervous?"

"If it weren't for your mother I guarantee you that my man parts would be ripped out by now." He chuckled.

"Nah."

"I need to tell you something, Miracle." He sighed. This wasn't good. Caid never used my full name unless he was serious.

"What is it?" I asked.

"I have to go to Moscow for a few months for an Alpha Meeting with my father." He said, pulling me flush to him. I was stunned. A few months? How long is a few months to him?

"You do know how dangerous this is, don't you? We can't be apart for more than three or we'll die!"

"I know that and I know we're waiting to Mate, but I have to go, Mir."

"Why can't I go too?"

"Moscow is barely safe for me. Their Alpha there is....ruthless. He doesn't value women as much as we do."

"But he has a Mate and Luna."

"And he treats her like shit. You aren't going, Miracle, and that's final!" He said, firmly, letting me go and standing up.

"Where are you going?"

"Home." He answered, walking away.

"When do you leave?" I pressed, following after him.

"Tomorrow morning." He said, quietly.

"TOMORROW MORNING!?" He nodded. "Why didn't you tell me sooner so I was prepared?!"

"I'm sorry. I just couldn't. Every time I looked at you I thought of how much I was going to miss you and the pain we would both endure for me to go to this meeting. I didn't want to see you sad and I didn't want you to treat me differently."

"If I wouldn't have invited you over tonight...when would you have told me?"

"I-I don't know."

"You don't know, huh? Would you have told me at all or just disappeared, leaving me to figure out what happened?"

"No! You know I wouldn't do that!"

"Do I? Because obviously we're having some communication problems." I said, crossing my arms.

"Listen, I don't wanna fight on my last night here." He said, softly, taking my arms apart and putting them around his back.

"What do you want then?"

"I want to hold you." He said, wrapping his arms around me. " I wanna kiss you." He whispered, kissing me. "And I want you to forgive me for being an inconsiderate jerk. Please, baby."

I sighed and rolled my eyes. "Fine, but only..."

"Only what?"

"If you promise to come see me the second you return AND."

"And?"

"You give me another one of those Earth shattering kisses." I smiled.

"Deal."

Sad that Caiden's leaving?

Me too, BUT I have sorta exciting news.

Idk how his gonna go,but I'm going to try and do a Q&A so comment any question you want about me or the story characters and I know one of the questions is going to be about Noelle/Venus so I'll explain that now. Venus is Noelle's wolf. Since Noelle never really connected with Venus before Noelle just called Venus "Her wolf" because she never took the time to know her. When Venus speaks through Noelle and says, "That's the name they gave me." She means the humans gave her human form, Noelle, that name and that her real name is Venus. I wanted to sorta symbolize the growing up that Noelle did and how she was starting to accept Venus as part of herself and for them to work together.

I got a lot of comments about people who thought I changed Noelle's name to Venus and I guess I didn't really explain that well enough. Sorry guys😅
