Twenty Eight|The Chase Family

Miracle's P.O.V
"Thank you, Mom, that was so thoughtful." I said, hugging my mother. "Caid, honey, you got everything?" In the time that had passed Caid and I tied the knot the human way and got married.

"Hopefully." He laughed. "With all the toys and diapers from your parent's and our pack we'll be over run at the pack house. We'll have diapers,wipes and toys everywhere. I could hardly fit all that in the trunk."

"Oh, my." My mom laughed.

"We better get back. Bye,momma." Caid said,kissing my mother's cheek.

I bent over to hug my dad and pain erupted from my body. "Oh, God!" I screamed.

"Her water broke!" Mom exclaimed, smiling.

"Mother it hurts!" I glared.

"Come on, Mir. I'll get you to the pack hospital." Caid said, taking my hand.

"Ow ow ow ow." I muttered,stroking my stomach. "I can already tell this pup is gonna be a pain in the a-"

"Here we are." Caid said,moving faster than lightning to help me out of the truck. A wheelchair was waiting for me at the bottom along with a nurse. Mom must've called them.

"Everything is going to be okay,baby." Caiden whispered,kissing my cheek. The nurse wheeled me off when Caid not far behind. I was taking fast yet short breaths,holding my giant belly.

"Get it out!" I screamed. The nurse and Caid helped me up and onto the bed while Doctor Noku walked in.

"Alright,Luna,let me see." Caid growled at Doctor Noku,causing him to step back. "Alpha,I cannot del-"

"Fine!" He snapped at him,taking my hand and kissing it. I smiled.

"Oh,my overprotective Alpha." I said to him. He growled playfully this time,nipping my nose with his human teeth. Then I was yet again aware of the excruciating pain. "Oh,God!"

"Push,Luna." Doctor Noku commanded and I did as I was told,pushing...and screaming. "Just a little more."

I was whimpering and crying,holding on to Caiden's hand as I was looking at him. He stroked my cheek and kissed me. "It'll be okay,Miracle. You're so strong,baby." Tears were streaming down my face at this point and Caiden was starting to get teary too. "Is it supposed to hurt this much?" He asked the doctor.

"It could only mean one thing" He said as I pushed. "The birth of an Alpha." Right as he said that the pain went away and the wonderful cries of my newborn son filled the room. He handed the little bundle to me and I stared in wonder at the spitten image of my Mate.

"Maximus Kane Chase." I whispered. "Do you know who I am?" I asked,smoothing his full head of dark brown hair. "I'm your mommy." And just as I said that he opened his brilliant bright eyes. They were green,but blue and absoutly hypnotic. He was going to have some ladies looking at him that was for sure.

Caiden was watching us silently,tears streaming down his face. "I have a son." He whispered,standing to kiss my forehead. "You've given me a son." He kissed my lips.

"Here." I said,holding Max up to him. "Hold him." Caiden took him carefully and smiled brighter than ever. "My little champion. You're already do handsome,little man." I giggled at that.

"Congratulations,Alpha and Luna." Doctor Noku said,leaving. The nurse came over and hugged me,introducing herself. "I'm Maggie. Luna,would you like the Alpha to be present for your breastfeeding lesson?"

"If he wants to." I looked up at him,holding our son.

"I would like to help her in every way possible." He smiled.

"You're all naturals." Maggie said,patting my shoulder. "If you have any questions don't hesitate to call me."

"Thank you,Maggie." I smiled at her.

"I'll leave the happy family to themselves. Now that you're dressed you can leave anytime you'd like." We nodded,thanking her again. Once she disappeared we turned out attention back to our son who was suckling,greedily.

"You're amazing. You know that?" Caid said,kissing me and tucking a stray hair behind my ear. "You've given me the most beautiful son in the world and I couldn't ask for a better family or Mate. You're my Miracle and the best one yet."

"I love you,Caiden Chase."

"I love you too,Miracle Chase." Max grunted and gently pounded my breast,seeing as how the attention was no longer on him anymore. I giggled and looked down so he would be content again.

He made the cutest little noises when I was feeding him. He would be gentle one minute,only suckling a little and stroking his tiny fist over me,to a fierce hungry warrior. He was so cute. In the years that followed we had another boy,Isaac,and a girl,Melanie. He was only nine months younger than Max due to the fact that Caiden couldn't keep his hands off me for a week straight and thus Isaac was born. Melanie was actually the planned baby while the boys were both oopses. We were very glad to have two boys they were just unexpected is all. I was so glad when Doctor Noku said we would be having a girl. She was a gem,truly. Bane took over my parent's pack not too long after Isaac was born and Evie was pregnant with their second child, a girl, Jade, as I was with Melanie.

Max took over the pack at age 17 and things were not good for him. He was a wonderful leader, but he would drink almost constantly,sleeping with random she-wolfs to satisfy his wolf,Nealis. He didn't want a Mate to "hold him down" as he had said. We would try to convince him to go out and to look for her at the town neighboring us, but he just wouldn't do it our way he wanted his way and his way only. Caiden and I had lost all hope until one night when he was out late all night,howling. And we knew...he had found her....
