Seventeen|Still there

Noelle's P.O.V
As soon as I said that,Kane went crazy. He shifted and crashed out the window,running into the night. I knew what he was going to do and I had to stop him. Mind linking Elizabeth to take care of the children,I packed a set of clothes f or both us,shifting as well. I ran out after him towards the Shining territory. I huffed out a big breath when we reached them. I pounced on Kane and he bucked me off,hitting my arm against a tree. An earsplitting crack could be heard across the territory and my high whimper of agony as pain shot through my entire body,starting with my right arm.

Kane stopped walking towards the house when he heard what he had done,but when he saw it,he howled in agony and rushed over to me,licking my face to comfort me.

Gee,bipolar much?

I pushed him away and tried to stand,but only failed,miserably in fact. It was as if it broke all over again.

Kane slid me on his back and walked through the open door of the lack house. I had forgotten that ever pack house door stayed open. Everyone could hear us.

He whimpered aloud and Brenson came rushing with Lilly close to his side. She gasped when she saw me on Kane's back. Brenson insisted I shift,but Kane only growled and snapped at him. I shifted and he covered my small body with his fluffy tail. I smiled and stroking it with my good arm. He purred and licked the full length of my face while I giggled. He shifted and changed us both carefully.

He placed me on the hospital bed and lowly growled to the doctor, "Cause her pain and I will kill you."

The doctor nodded and went to work,but before I could say it feel anything I have a vision.

"Everything os always a joke with you,isn't it?" Lilly asked Brenson.

"Lilly I'm just playing."

"My best friend is in the hospital,Bren." She whispered,sitting on a wooden chair.

Brenson sighed and put his arms around her. "It isn't our fault. It was Kane who hurt her."

"Because he was mad at YOU."

"I don't know what I did!"

Bull crap,you do!

"Look,Brenson,I just want to be left alone for now."

"I understand." He said,leaving.

I woke to Kane's hand in mine with his head on my flat stomach. I smiled and ran my fingers through his silky hair,taking in a deep breath.

"You're awake." Lilly said from the door. I smiled and waved at her,holding my index finger over my lips to make sure that she was quiet. She tip toed in and sat to my left where Kane was not. "How are you feeling?"

"Good. Everything okay with you and Brenson?"

"Uh. Yeah."

"Okay." They would fight later on tonight then.

"What happened to make Kane go crazy?"

"Brenson is from a very dark part of my past,Lilly,a part that I don't wish to repeat."

"What was it?"

"Baby,you're up." Came Kane's soft voice,thick with sleep.

"Yeah,I am and I'm hungry."

"I'll get the food." Lilly said,walking away.

"I'm sorry I freaked out,Venus,but Brenson's acts can not go unpunished!"

"Yes,they can and they will."

"No!"

"Yes!"

"He hurt you!"

"I've been hurt multiple times,Kane. It's fine."

"No,it's not,V."

"It doesn't matter. Th ey're almost all dead anyway."

"What?"

"I killed them,Kane. That's what I've been running from all this time. My past is an ugly one and sometimes I can't escape it. It doesn't matter what you do,Kane,because the scars are still there."

Lilly's P.O.V
I stood outside the door of Noelle's room. Why did he call her Venus? And Brenson hurt her? How? He is the most kind man I'd ever known! I decided to enter the room now with eggs,bacon,sausage,fruit and yogurt. I smiled as if I had heard nothing,handing my Luna her breakfast.

"Enjoy Luna." I said,walking out and towards Brenson's office. I had a bone to pick with him.

Kane's P.O.V
When we walked through the door the twins greeted us shouting,

"Mommy!!" And jumping up and down. She squealed and picked them up with her newly healed arm. They kissed both of her cheeks and she laughed hysterically at their actions. She carried them off to play while I went upstairs to finish off my Alpha Duties.

I had a special surprise for my Luna tonight.
