Genesis' POV

"Attention everyone! Tonight is capture the flag, I will now announce the teams! On the blue team is Artemis, Athena, Poseidon, and Hermes,"

Chiron announced. There was excited chatter and our food disappeared. It was replaced by armor. I glanced at the rest of my team now putting on armor. Because of my powers I didn't need to wear any. I left the mess hall with the rest of the group. I walked in the front with Luke, Willow, Alleya and the new kid. Who's name I still hadn't learned yet.

I pulled Alleya aside. "What's the new kids name?" I asked.

"Percy Jackson. He's a son of Poseidon." She said.

I nodded. "Wait, that's Willow's brother?"

"Yeah. Half-Brother though." We were at the edge of the forest so I led. I weaved around the trees expertly almost loosing everyone. We made it to the flag and I stopped.

"So who is going to stay here?" I asked. The kids from Hermes and Athena raised their hands. That left me with my hunters, Willow and Percy. I took my weapons out and I noticed Percy looking at me. I avoided his gaze as I walked over to Luke. He was adjusting his armor and I leaned over.

"Be careful. I'll send help if you ever need it." I whispered. He nodded and kissed my cheek. A horn sounded which marked the beginning of the game. I walked back to my small group.

"Follow me." I said. I could see the flag on top of the hill and decided to split everyone up. Willow went with two hunters. I sent a couple around the other way and that left me with Percy. We neared the hill and I heard voices. We crouched at the edge of the bushes surrounding the clearing and the hunters were there too. There were only five of the red team guarding the flag, this was going to be easy. I drew my bow along with the other hunters. I counted down softly and shot. I pinned one of the boys to a tree and the girls did the same. Willow ran out and snatched the flag when I heard a whistle blow. I whipped my head towards the way we came. I picked up a small mouse from the ground and whispered something to it.

"Let's go!" I yelled and dashed into the woods.

I heard Percy not far behind me and I slowed to talk to him.

"How do you like camp so far?" I asked.

"It's alright." He said. I looked at him and he was scared. I laughed.

"You think it's weird here don't you?"

He nodded.

"Oh you just wait." I said now at our flag. It was still there but so many people were fighting around it. Not only were people fighting but the animals I had sent. Willow dodged through the crowds and held the flag above her head in the middle. The horn sounded again which ended game. There was muttering of

"Good game."

And

"Get you next time."

We all headed back to our cabins. Percy ended up beside me again.

"So, son of Poseidon. What's it like to be one of the big three's son?"

"Big Three?"

"You know Zeus, Poseidon, and...Hades."

"I guess it's cool." He said. His cabin was before mine so I bid him goodnight. I smiled to myself thinking back on how my day had gone. Luke suddenly appeared beside me his hair ruffled from the game. "Hey." I said lacing his fingers in mine.

"Hey, that was a fun game."

"Yeah. Too bad they're only once a week."

"Mhm." I said yawning. My cabin was right around the corner.

"Goodnight Luke." I said standing on my tiptoes and kissing him passionately. His arms wrapped around my waist while mine brushed through his hair. Yup, this was going to be a perfect summer.
