(Luke's POV)
After the events of the intrusion, Genesis was whisked away. I was very worried but I needed to keep the campers under control. Having been the camper here the longest I had some responsibilities. I calmed them down and released them to their cabins, making sure they all got there safely. I would permanently have my sword with me from then on. I was headed to the Big House to find Gen when I saw Willow, not exactly too happy.
"Willow? What's up?" I asked carefully.
"Nothing." She said quickly while trying to slip past me. I grabbed her arm softly.
"What happened?" I said seriously, starting to fear the worst. She sighed.
"Gen is the most powerful evil goddess, my friend and boyfriend were captured and now we are going to try to save them." She said.
"Wait-what?" I said not believing what I had just heard.
"Gen is the daughter of Gene and Erebus." She stated shrugging my hand off.
"Where is she?" I asked taking some steps towards the Big House.
"Luke?" She called.
"Yes?" I said stopping.
"I-I think she would like to be left alone for a while." She said giving me a small smile before leaving for her cabin. I looked at Genesis sitting on the steps longingly. But I took Willow's advice and wandered camp a bit.
When I was just deciding I go back to my cabin I stopped by the shooting range. There was where I saw Gen. She was aiming at Percy who was now approaching her. The scene unfolded in front of me. She dropped her bow and apologized. At first I thought Percy was trying to be comforting but that was when he leaned in. I turned completely rigid and it began to get hot. What really bothered me was she kissed him back and it wasn't innocent, it was full on. I snapped and unsheathed my sword. Gen started to pull away probably hearing me but he just pushed his way back. That was when I started to get angry. I thought about killing that...that Percy right there. But I didn't for the sake of Genesis.
I approached Percy the next morning. I slammed him against the wall. I pulled the knife I had in my pocket and held it in my hand.
"What the-?" He screeched but I gently pressed on his throat cutting off his words. I flipped the knife open and I saw fear crawl into his eyes. I smiled.
"Listen, Water Boy. I saw what you did last night. I was tempted to kill you then but Gen would never forgive me. I mean, I could kill you now. What's one less camper? But your father would never let me hear the end of it." I said sneering. He started to try to pull my arms off him.
"Don't even try, Water Boy. If you tell anyone about this, I might just slit your throat." I said letting my arm off him. He dropped to the ground coughing and struggling for breath.
"Stay away from my girlfriend." I growled closing the knife and returning it to my pocket. I stalked off into the mess hall feeling that I had gotten my business done.
