(Willow's POV)
"ALLEYA!" I screamed, shaking her shoulder.
Great, this is just freaking great, first the giant fish things attack the camp, then the giant fish things come back and make my friend pass out, oh and we can't forget that my other friend is a freaking skeleton.
"Well, Willow Hunt, you seem a bit confused," the projection of the fish thing said.
"Shut your scaly face," I snapped.
"I thought you'd want to know where your boyfriend is," the fish thing said.
I turned on it, my green eyes blazing, "Where. Is. Nico." I growled.
"We have him, he's with the rest of the Althena cabin," the fish thing sneered.
"And where is that?" I asked.
"Go ask your oracle for a quest," the fish thing said.
I reached for my knife and threw it at the fish creature, but it just laughed and dissapeared. I felt my eyes beginning to burn, but I will not cry, no more tears over Nico, I promised myself that.
I stormed up the stairs to the Big House, "CHIRON!" I screamed.
"Willow, get out of here," Chiron said.
I folded my arms, "No, both of my best friends have either been turned into skeletons or put to sleep by a giant fish thing, I won't leave! Oh, and my boyfriend's been stolen, did I mention that?" I asked.
"What?" Chiron said.
"I will not repeat myself." I said.
"What do you want?" Chiron said.
"A quest!" I said, as if it was obvious, which it was.
"Absoblutely not!" Chiron said.
"Fine," I said, and pushed past him into the infirmary, "Gen?" I asked, seeing the curled up figure on the bed.
"Willow?" Gen said, sitting up.
"Gen...you're not a skeleton anymore!" I exclaimed, "What happened?" I asked.
Gen sighed, "Erebus was known as the embodiment of primordial darkness, the son of Chaos (who was the void from which all things developed, known also as Darkness). He has one known daughter. Erebus has been recognized as one of the most dangerous Gods."
"What? I asked, "What does this have to do with you?"
"In Greek mythology, the Arae were female spirits of curses, particularly of the curses placed by the dead upon those guilty of their death; they were associated with the underworld. The most powerful is Gene. Of which her daughter is named after. She is labeled one of the most dangerous Goddesses." Gen continued.
"I still don't get it," I said, "who's her daughter?"
"I am Genesis. Daughter of Erebus and Gene. My powers include mind control, mind reading, controlling all earth elements, exceptional weapon ability, inflicting curses, calling dead to aid, raising the dead, monster control, extreme torture, and death if used properly. I inherited a sword made by the undead, a bow and unlimited arrows which immediately kill and a protective sweater which makes me invincible. I am and remain the most powerful Goddess of our world and all others." Genesis said sadly.
"And this is bad because...?" I said.
"Zeus is going to send things to destroy me seeing me as evil and most powerful. He needs the fame for himself." Genesis said.
"Oh," I said, I hate the gods, they have to take all the fame for themselves.
"Yeah," Genesis said, looking down at her hands.
"Hey, I'm going on a quest to find Nico and the Athena cabin, will you come?" I asked.
"Did Chiron...?" Gen asked.
"What do you think?" I asked.
Silence, then, "Yeah, I guess you're right,"
"Oh my gods, Alleya!" I exclaimed, jumping up and running out of the room with Gen right behind me.
We stopped at the place where Alleya was supposed to be, "Where is she?" Gen asked, hugging herself to protect her from the cold night.
Wait. Cold? It's July.
"Gen..." was all I had time to say before I blacked out.
"Willow!" Gen said, shaking my shouder, the night was hot again and I was lying on the ground.
"Gen?" I mumbled.
"Yeah?" she asked.
"Why am I on the ground?" I asked groggily.
"Because you blacked out," Gen replied.
"Oh," then I sat up quickly, "where's Alleya?" I asked.
"I have no idea, but the oracle was calling your name," Gen said.
I stood up, brushing the nonexistant dirt off of my jeans, "We can't ignore the oracle," I said mater-of-factly.
We walked up the stairs to the Big House and pushed past Chiron again, I climbed up the ladder to the attic, the oracle was covered in green smoke.
