(Alleya's POV)

I walked back to my cabin with a bit of a limp. I could not take a silent step. I'm pretty sure a camper in the main house could hear me.

Annabeth camp running up to me before I could even get inside the cabin.

"What happened? Please don't tell me someone from the Ares cabin did this."

"No! I twisted me ankle on a root. I'm fine!" I protested.

"Yeah, tell that to your limp. We're taking you to the infirmary." She twirled me around and pushed me in the direction of the infirmary, keeping her hands on my shoulders to make sure I actually made it there.

"Percy, you okay?" I asked.

The poor boy was wandering around aimlessly looking for something. Probably his cabin.

"Yeah. I'm just looking for-" he began. "What happened to your leg?"

"She twisted it. Silly girl. Poseidon's cabin is over there," Annabeth answered, pointing him in the right direction.

"Thanks! And feel better, Alleya." He waved to us, then ran off to his cabin.

"I will," I whispered, even though he was long gone.

"Ooh! Does someone like the new guy?" Annabeth teased.

I shoved her lightly and told her to shut up, but I couldn't help but smile. Maybe I did like him, a little. Just a little.

"Just take me to the infirmary you goof!"

The nurse gave me a wrap to keep my ankle in place and some ambrosia to help the pain. She also told me I could not participate in next weeks capture the flag.

I told my friends the news the next day and they were totally bummed. Capture the flag is not the same if someones missing, even if the suck at it.

"Maybe of you stay off it she'll let you play!" Annabeth suggested.

"Yeah! A week seems like a very long time to rest for a rolled ankle," Percy agreed. He wasn't looking me on the eye though. In fact, he was looking at Gen. She was either ignoring him or had no idea he was staring at her like a weirdo.

"What is that all about?" I asked Willow.

"No clue. But he obviously has no idea that she is not interested. I mean look at her!"

I looked back at Gen. Luke had one arm around her waist and she had bother hers around him. She was also resting her head an his chest while he stroked her hair. It was adorable, yet painful.

Painful because no one had every held me like that. Painful because the guy I kinda liked could possibly be falling for my best friend. And painful because I was lying to myself.

He totally liked her and I totally liked him. And this just adds to the messed up world of my life.
