(Genesis' POV)

I sat bolt upright when I heard footsteps outside my tent. I hadn't slept a wink and was pretty much keeping watch over Willow and Nathan. I grabbed the arrows I was sharpening and my bow. The footsteps circled and then started to open the zipper to my tent. I drew my bow silently and a familiar face popped into my tent. I immediately lowered it an jumped into the person pulling him into a hug.

"I'm sorry I left without telling you." I whispered. He held me tighter and zipped the tent closed again.

"I have something for you." He said pulling back and grabbing packages out of his bag. I was perched on my knees watching his every move.

"How did you get these?" I asked.

"I asked my dad if I could deliver them. He gladly agreed." Luke whispered. I smiled.

"I'm glad you did." I said anchoring my hand on his neck and brushing my thumb back and forth on his cheek. He looked up at me and then he realized the cut.

"Babe, what happened?" He asked brushing my hair back to see the length of it. Which started at my temple and continued down to my neck.

"I-I got attacked in a bus." I said quietly avoiding is worried gaze. He pulled me in closer.

"You're still stunning." He whispered letting his lips brush against mine quickly.

"What about that sword fighting?" Luke asked.

"I might just have to make that up now huh?" I asked.

"Yup. You're not getting out of it." He said pushing me down on the ground of my tent. I looked mischievously into his eyes and he immediately began to kiss me. It was passionate and I began to slip his jacket off his shoulders. He clearly hadn't found out about Percy.

I laid on my back staring at the sky for a while. I had long since left my tent and opened my packages from Luke. The bow and arrows, sweater and sword from my parents. I hadn't seen my cut yet but I gingerly felt the side of my face. Willow emerged from her tent with Nathan right beside her. I sat up and let my hair fall in front of my face.

"Good Morning. Sleep well?" I asked. Willow came and sat beside me. She nodded sleepily.

"You?" She asked pulling some food out of her bag. She handed me a piece of bread.

"Yeah. Great." I said reminiscing on last night and half-smiling. She looked at me questioningly and pulled my hair back exposing my cut. She gasped and let it fall.

"Gen, why didn't you tell me?" She asked worriedly. Nathan was beside me pushing my hair back and looking at me.

"It's deep." He stated. "Are you sure you are all right?" I lowered his hand from my face.

"Guys I'm fine." I said biting my lip. The actual pain was setting in. I got up and walked into the woods. I easily found a small pond not too far off and stared into its dark, murky water. That was when I let go.

I was suddenly underwater. I had always had a fear of drowning and, if I could help it, never touch a large body of water. I looked up frantically to see nothing, a dark surface. I started to panic and I tried to swim up but roots were coiled around my legs getting tighter by the second. I stared ahead of me to see Alleya. My feet had no feeling and I was starting to get light headed. I looked at her frantically knowing she would help me but she didn't move. She stared on, almost wanting to see me drown. My lungs began to burn and my eyes fluttered closed. I was dead, I'm sure of it. But then. I wasn't.
