(Genesis' POV)

Our once small two person group had now turned into a cozy five person one. After the...drowning I had lost a lot of energy and I was still in shock. I had been throwing up every hour or so and now I was dry heaving behind a tree. Luke was holding my hair back and rubbing my back comfortingly. I finally stopped and I sipped my water.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Luke asked. I spit out my water and nodded. I straightened myself as well as I could. He brushed my hair behind my shoulder and pecked my cheek. The group had gone ahead and Alleya was staying as far away from me as she could. My legs began to shake and I collapsed. Luke caught me before I hit the ground and helped me get steady.

"Positive?" He said. I shook my head and held my arms up, like a toddler would do. He smiled at me and I used the last bit of energy I had to jump onto his back. My eyes fluttered closed and I fell asleep.

I knew some of my old powers were vanishing as I couldn't heal as fast nor navigating the woods as easily. My...bad side was taking over. I had a short temper and whenever that happened the sky turned dark. Well. That night I over heard the rest of the group talking.

"She's slowing us down."

"Maybe we should leave...it."

"But she's the most powerful. She could protect us."

"She's evil. What makes you think she won't turn on us. We need to get rid of her."

"But-"

"Luke. You know it's the best option."

There was silence.

"If she goes I go."

"Fine. Leave. We don't need either of you anyways."

That pushed it too far. I was steaming and the sky turned black. Not. Even. Kidding.

"See she heard us! Watch her kill us now." The rain poured down all around me and it immediately put out their fire. I soaked all of them through except Luke and I. I felt my face changing and I emerged from my tent. For the first time my clothes began to change also. I wore a black flowing dress which was ripped all along the bottom. Parts coiled around my arms and legs and I realized I could control them. The bottom were like snakes, capable of killing. They saw me striding to them and they tried to escape. All but Luke. I raised the ground around us to a head-spinning height and surrounded us with fire.

"Nobody trusts the girl with amazing power, huh? Earth shattering power?" I boomed. Willow and Alleya stopping trying to get away and I peered into their minds. Their worst fears. I laughed. I willed spiders and ghosts to appear and chase after them.

"Watch me take over this world. You think I'm dangerous? Oh you just wait. Come with me and be on my side or take your demi-god way." I sneered. They looked at me with wide eyes and I saw Nathan get his sword out. I laughed at his childish move and he charged at me. I pushed him back just far enough to be hanging lightly off the cliff. Willow screamed and ran to him. I made a fist and the fears disappeared. I watched as she tried to pull him back up but the gravity slowly began to pull him towards his doom. The thunder boomed and the lightning hit, no one other than me. I was immediately teleported to a court room and strapped into a chair. I felt completely drained as I had when I was sick and my face and clothes returned to normal. I slumped as my energy quickly left my body in tidal waves of pain.

"Stop." A loud voice commanded. The machine my chair was strapped to powered off but I did not regain my strength. I lifted my head and my fears came true. I was in Olympus, in front of all the Gods and Goddesses. Where I should belong. My breaths came out in fast bursts and it wouldn't stop. I gazed over them and noticed Artemis was not in her throne. She was rather walking towards me.

"For your deeds and extreme threat to all of human and god kind you are to be kept in the torture chambers of Olympus. Forever." Zeus said. Artemis hugged me before I was sent away. It was all a blur.

I had no idea what time it was. How long I was there but all I knew was my arms were bound as well as my legs. I was thrown into a cell and strapped to the wall. My arms above my head and my legs spread apart. I couldn't slump so I was forced to stand. The cell was sealed and I blinked repeatedly to see in the dimness of the it.

"I didn't know girls could make it here." A boy's voice began.

"Who's out there?" I asked squinting to see. Clanking of what sounded like handcuffs neared me. There was a small light around me in which I could see things in close proximity. The boy I heard before appeared. His hair was a soft, sandy brown and his eyes the brightest green I had ever seen. They seemed to glow. He stared at me in disbelief.

"How. How did you do that?" He asked. I had just been staring and I didn't know I had done anything.

"What?" I asked.

"Let me explain. I'm Drago Tenebraes but you will call me Nox. Son of Medusa. I just tried to turn you to stone but you resisted. How?" He said pacing. His cuffs clanked against the floor. His green eyes mesmerized me as he stared at me intently.

"Genesis DuPree. Daughter of Erebus and Gene. Princess of darkness, Nox." I said. He took a step back knowing my power. Then he shrugged.

"So how'd you get here?" He asked making himself comfortable on the floor in front of me. I felt particularly vulnerable and this didn't help.

"Being the Princess of Darkness. Isn't that enough?" I asked sarcastically. He laughed, it was soft and melodic.

"Okay. Now what about you?" I asked.

"Tried to steal the crown of Hades. I would've gotten it if it weren't for that God Zeus." He said. I shifted in my imprisonment.

"I know how you feel." I muttered. We both were quiet for a while as screams echoed through the hallways. I longed to cover my ears but I couldn't. One silent tear fell and I told myself I wouldn't cry. Not here. The screams ended without warning and Nox looked at me. We stared for a bit longer until we were sure they were done.

"So, what can you do?" He asked.

"Many things, but I do know your greatest fear is me." I said. I wasn't hurt. A lot of people had grown afraid of me.

"Do you know for what?" He said slyly. I tried to dig deeper but he had cleared his mind of thoughts of me. I cocked my head to the side.

"No..." A bang landed on our cell door.

"Step away from the hostile, Snake." A guard yelled. Nox sneered at him. The guard turned to stone. I smiled. He got up and stepped closer to me his face right beside mine. I noticed a small bit of stubble and his eyes were still glowing. He leaned down to my ear.

"I'm afraid of what you might do to me, Princess. After you're out of those bonds. I'm afraid, that we will be a little more than friends...and you won't accept that." He whispered letting his lips brush against my cheek with the last word. Knowing I would shiver he took his moment bite his lip and back away into the darkness. Nox slinked away to another hidden area that I wasn't aware of.

"See you tomorrow, Princess." He called and snapped his fingers. The guard at the door broke out of his rock state and unlocked the door.

"Time for your torture." He growled.
