A/N Compadres. I apologize for not posting these as often as I should. :/ School is getting tougher and y'all probably know how that is. Sorry again. -Fizzy Cola

(Genesis's POV)

I stood dazed for a moment. When I saw the monster it was almost as if it were talking to me, getting inside my mind. I watched it die, which was sad enough for me. Suddenly, I voice almost hissing at me spoke.

"There will be more. You must stay on guard and be prepared to battle my army." The voice continued but I was already screaming on the ground. I sat, clawing at my ears and tears streaming down my face which almost...burnt.

"Silence!" It yelled echoing in my ears. I stopped and buried my head in my knees.

"Meet me at the edge of the forest, and if you refuse...all your friends and family die." I whimpered and the voice left. Everyone was gathered around me when I lifted my head. Except they stood outside of the burnt circle around me. Alleya cautiously stepped onto the charred grass around me.

"Genesis? Are you-" Then she stopped and backed away from me. Willow gasped and all the campers backed away. The nurse came running towards me. She was surprised to see me alive and not burnt. She stopped outside the ring. She covered her mouth to stifle her scream but didn't really work. Chiron finally galloped onto the scene. He came straight up to me acknowledging the circle but not caring. He looked at me and pulled back a bit before swinging me onto his back.

"Back away!" He boomed taking me to The Big House and I realized I was shaking. I hopped off and almost collapsed. Chiron grabbed my arm steadying me. I almost felt as if he was scared by me because he was digging his nails hard into my skin. He dragged me into the door and slammed it. He lifted my up by my collar and pushed me against the wall. I thrashed trying to get him off.

"Who is your guardian?" He asked

"My father and Artemis." I said still emotional from the event.

"Please can you just tell me what's-"

"Who is your biological father?" He yelled at me.

"I-I don't know. I was found in the woods or that's what mother told me." I drifted off. He let me go and I dropped to the floor. I heard him go fetch something and throw it at me. It shattered and he went away from me looking for something in the bookcase. I rubbed at my throat and reached for the now broken mirror laying at my feet.

"It's just a myth." Chiron kept muttering. I peered into it and immediately threw it across the room. It was me, but then it wasn't. My face completely white, cheekbones defined, eye sockets sunken in. I looked like a skeleton. What really caught my eye were my eyes. Completely pitch black. Chiron now was throwing the books that did not contain the information he was seeking. I curled up and watched as he looked in a book for two seconds and threw it backwards. My own reflection had scared me.

I was transferred to the couch and I couldn't bear to look in that mirror again.

"Here." He said dropping a book in my lap.

"Read this. It's about your powers and ancestry. Possibly your father."

"Erebus was known as the embodiment of primordial darkness, the son of Chaos (who was the void from which all things developed, known also as Darkness). He has one known daughter. (See page 43) Erebus has been recognized as one of the most dangerous Gods." He turned to another part of the book and pointed to it.

"Read it."

"In Greek mythology, the Arae were female spirits of curses, particularly of the curses placed by the dead upon those guilty of their death; they were associated with the underworld. The most powerful is Gene. Of which her daughter is named after. (See page 43) she is labeled one of the most dangerous Goddesses."

"Turn to page 43." He said. I flipped reluctantly to the page.

"Genesis. Daughter of Erebus and Gene. Her powers include mind control, mind reading, controlling all earth elements, exceptional weapon ability, inflicting curses, calling dead to aid, raising the dead, monster control, extreme torture, and death if used properly. She has inherited a sword made by the undead, a bow and unlimited arrows which immediately kill and a protective sweater which makes her invincible. She will and remains the most powerful Goddess of our world and all others." I finished.

"So, naturally Zeus is going to send things to destroy you seeing as you are evil and most powerful. He needs the fame for himself." Chiron said pacing.

"Is-is this why my face is..." I stuttered touching my face. He nodded avoiding my gaze.

"It should wear off any moment now. Promise me Genesis. No one must know who you really are. No one." He said gripping my shoulder hard.

"Ye-yes sir."
