My story

"In exchange for Fairy Tail to be fully pardoned they required my life, my services" I said.  "Before you left you mentioned something about a family favor?" she said.  "I did.  When I had gotten to their headquarters I stormed in yelling at the council members and their chairman.  I told them the only way they were going to get Fairy Tail was through me, and I wasn't going to give up without a fight" I said and someone gasped.

"So I fought the Knights and ended up meeting the Chairman face to face.  Demanding that he pardon Fairy Tail.  He did" I said gravely and Mira handed me a water.  "Why?" she asked after I took a drink.  "Because he was my father.  In return for pardoning Fairy Tail he wanted me to work for him.  I signed a contract, the magic council owned me.  They gave me missions, I completed them.  Then after my last mission I got so wounded they declared my contract finished and sent me home" I finished taking a huge drink of my water.  

"Then if you were under contract why are you telling me this?" she asked.  I smiled and said "Because my contract is finished.  They let me come home."  Then someone's hand slapped my back and I cringed in pain.  "Y/N your back!!" Natsu shouted and I said "You hit me again and I'll end you.  I am still recovering physically from a mission."  "Wendy!!" Natsu shouthed and a girl came forward.  "Can you help Y/N heal faster?" he asked.  "I can try" she said and walked up to me.  "I'll heal on my own Wendy, don't waste your magic on me" I said and she stepped away at the tone of my voice.  I sighed and said "Wendy I've got something for you" and reached for my bag.

"What is it?" she asked excitedly.  "I know it's not much but I got you a book.  It's a sky magic book to help you with your magic.  It teaches you everything about it" I said and handed it to her.  "Thank you Y/N!!" she shouted and gave me a soft hug.  I looked up and saw Natsu pouting.  "Don't worry I got you something too" I said laughing and handed him a box.  He opened it and shouted "Food!!"  "The fish is for Happy!" I shouted when he ran away.  I reached into my bag and handed Mira a ring.  It was made from silver with a heart on top.  It had a guild mark on the top left, and it had a bright blue heart attatched on the right with a small diamond in the center of it.

"I made it myself, I also added a charm to it.  As long as you wear it your magic energy will replenish" I said.  "It's beautiful Y/N thank you" she said and put it on.  I carefully got up and grabbed 3 more gifts and headed over to Natsu's table.  I handed Gray a book on advanced Ice make magic, then I handed Lucy a small box, and I handed Erza a long thin box.

Lucy opened hers first and gasped "This key openes the gate of the Heavenly scales key.  How did you get it?!  The last time I saw it was in the Grand Magic Games!"  "Well I beat her got her key and gave it to you" I said with a shrug.  Erza opened her's and shouted with joy "A new sword for my collection!!"  "I charmed it too.  I'tll increase your magic energy as long as you have it" I said before I headed back towards the bar and sat down rubbing my stiff leg.  Suddenly a shadow covered me and I looked up seeing. Gajeel standing there.

He looked down at me and then asked "You didn't get me anything?" I swallowed and said "No."  "Well that's not nice" he said and I added  "I made you something instead."  He looked shocked and I reached into my bag and brought out a couple of cloth bundles.  I handed one to Gajeel and the other to Pantherlily.  "I didn't know what to get you so I decided to make you something.  If you don't like it I understand" I said and was startled when a thick gloved finger lifted up my chin.  I felt a light kiss on my cheek and Gajeel said "It's beautiful.  Thank you."  I smiled and said "I thought that since you can't see Metalicana I thought I'd make you a replica of him."

"Thank you for the sword Y/N" Panterlily said then added "It's in good condition too.  It's perfect."  I glared and said "It better be I made it." "How?" Panterlily asked.  "While I was gone, I learned how to craft metal" I said with a shrug.  I yawned and Gajeel said "Tired?"  I nodded and said "Yes, I've been so weary recently."  He extended a hand towards me and I took it.  "Then it's time to go home" he said as he helped me up.  I fell forward as my leg gave out again.  I landed against Gajeel and we both landed on the floor.  I landed on Gajeel's chest and blushed.  I quickly got off and tried to get back up on my seat but I nearly fell again and Gajeel caught me.

"Y/N why do you keep falling?  How bad are your injuries?" he asked.  "They're not that bad" I protested as he sat me down on a stool.  Then he kneeled down gripped the bottom of my loose tan cargo pants and ripped them up until the rip reached my upper thigh.  He gently worked on untying my boot and pulled it off as well as my sock looking at my bandaged leg.  The top of the bandage reahed up underneath my pants and wrapped around my leg to my foot, my toes peaking out of the bandage.  

"Y/N" he said as ht looked at my face.  "It's not that bad really" I said and he started to undo the banadage.  My leg was slowly revealed as he unwrapped it.  It revealed the still healing jagged mark that started from the middle of my thing to my ankle.  "What the hell did that to you?!" Gajeel shouted drawing everyones attention.  "Umm" I said and looked at my hands.  "Y/N take off the coat" he demanded.  "No" I said.  "Take off the coat or I'll rip it off you" he growled.  I glared at him and said "Fine." Aware that he wasn't going to like what he saw.

I carefully undid each button and pulled it off, glaring at him, daring him to say something.  He eyed my heavily bandaged torso, and arms.  "You look like you just got out of the infermery" he finally growled.  I looked away and said "I technically did."  "You what?!!" he shouted.  I sighed and said "When I was first taken to the infermery, the Chairman released me from my contract.  After sitting in the infermery for almost a month I decided to come home."  "You teleported while you were wounded!!" he shouted.  I rubbed the back of my neck and said "I um didn't teleport I uh kinda sorta walked."

"Tell me your kidding" he growled.  I said nothing.  I felt his hands on my shoulders and he started to shake me.  "You idiot why would you risk your life getting here?!  What was so important that you risked injuring yourself further to get here?" he demanded.  "I wanted to come home" I began, "That's not good enough" he growled.  I glared at him and said "I was going to say I wanted to come home to you, you barbarian."  "To me? Why?" he asked puzzled.  I blushed as I glared at him and said "Because I love you.  I missed you.  I wanted to come home, and Home is wherever you are you gigantic Ape.  I'm also beginning to question why I love you."

I saw him grin and then he kissed me.  When he pulled away he said "I love you too, you stubborn woman."  Then he added "And now your going  back into the infermery."  "But, but" I protested until Gajeel hushed me by placing a finger on my lips.  "No buts your not coming home with me until your fully healed" he said.  "But that could take forever" I said.  "Then I'll wait forever to take you home" he said then carried me to the infermery.  He placed me on the bed then ordered the nurse "Keep her here until she's fully healed."  The nurse nodded then set to work on my clothes and replaced my bandages.  I fell asleep when the nurse was done.
