Wedding Day

We all played bingo until several hours before the wedding and Gajeel and I were dragged away to get ready.  Lucy summoned Virgo to help me with make-up and my dress.  My dress fell to the floor in ruffles.  The top of my dress was tied like a corset the black strings pulled tight.  The sleaves were small, and placed on my arms leaving my shoulders and chest bare.  Virgo applied eyeliner, and light pink lipstick on me.  Then Lucy added some body glitter around my eyes drawing the attection to my e/c orbs.

Virgo helped me lift the ruffeled bottom part of my dress so Lucy could help me put my silver heels on.  When Virgo left Lucy summoned Cancer to do my hair.  He did my hair with a simple but beautiful waves that fell down my back.  Tiny jewels had been painsakingly put in and a starburst lily placed behind my ear completing my look.  Cana came in witha tiny box and said "This is from me." "Thank you Cana" I said taking it.

I opened it and saw a pair of dangly silver earrings shapped into the guildmark.  "Their so beautiful Cana thank you" I said and put them on.  Lucy anded me the ribbon I had bought a few days ago, but it had been changed.  There dangling in the middle of the ribbon was another silver guildmark.  I lifted up my hair allowing her to tie it on.  "It's beautiful Lucy thank you" I said lightly touching the pendent hanging from my ribbon.

They smiled and Erza came in showing off a box sayng "Here's something for you to wear for your wedding."  I opened it and saw a charm bracelet.  Hanging from it was a tiny silver flame, a small ice crystal, a small sword, a tiny book, and tiny silver key and another guild mark.  "Oh my it's so beautiful Erza.  Thank you guys all of its beautiful" I said.  They all looked at eachother and Erza asked "What's with the collar?" "Collar?" I asked then said "My necklace?"

She nodded and I said "Lucy gave it to me."  Cana laughed and said "The gifts we gave you were from Gajeel.  Looks like he's collared his girl so she couldn't get away."  Erza handded me my bouqet and said "It's time people."  I could smell the light flowery scent of my bouqet and as we walked towards the wedding.  I looked around and gasped at the beauty of it.  The trees were glowing in the night.  Their blossoms were pink, yellow, green, blue and purple.  

The trees were connected with white streamers and smalll chinese lanterns hung from them.  Every one was seated on picnic blanketts, and tables of food were towards the sides.  We got into a line and Makarov stood waiting to walk me down the "asile."  He had streached himself so that he could take my arm.  We waked down the asile looking at the man who had stolen my heart.  He wore a black studded ragged trench coat, with a tight dark brown shirt, and loos tan trousers with a studded belt.

He wore his signature studded gloves and studded black boots.  His hair was nicely slicked back and keeping the hair out of his face was a tan colored head band that covered his forehead.  I smiled at him when I saw Panterlily standing beside him.  when I reached him I took Gajeel's arm.  "You look beautiful" he said and kissed my cheek.  "You look handsome" I said with a smile then asked "Isn't the collar going a bit to far?"  He chuckled and said "I wondered if you'd get it.  You're mine got that."

"Yes" I said as I faced the preacher.  When we got to the rings I gasped when I saw the ring he was slipping on my finger.  The ring was made in silver diamonds in the band and in the center was a big diamond heart with and oval shaped saphire on each side.  "When I first met you I thought you were the most powerful person I had ever met" he began.  He swallowed and continued "I didn't know then that you would make me the happiest man ever.  I know at times I can be rash and jump to conclusions.  All I ask is that you stand by me no matter what, and love me as much as I do you.  I'm giving you this ring as a symbol of my love, of the heart you have today, tomorrow and  every single day after.  I'll love you forever and in return I hope you'll love me for just as long."

I blinked my eyes rapidly trying not to cry.  When I was handed the plain silver band I looked at it and tossed it over my shoulder.  He looked at me wide eyed as the ring rolled across the grass.  I reached into my dress and pulled out the ring I made.  I slipped the ring on his finger as I said "When I first met you I thought you were brash, rough, and just plain mean.  But somehow the longer I knew you I saw the man I see now.  I see the man I love with all my heart.  this ring is a symbol of my love for you.  This ring is a promise to love you forever and a day.  A promise to stand by your side no matter what we face.  A sign that I'm yours and only yours.  I love you Gajeel Redfox, I always will."

"You may kiss the bride" said the preacher and after handing my bouqet over to Mirajane, Gajeel took me in his arms, dipped me, and kissed me roughtly and with passion in front of the whole guild.  When we stood back up everyone cheered.  The preacher left, and everyone went and got a plate.  Gajeel took my hand and we walked towards the cake.  The cake was beautiful with strawberries positioned on top of the white icing, and stawberry juice dripping down the sides.  Everyone laughed as we shoved cake into eachothers faces.  Then Gajeel surprised me with a cake covered kiss.

When we pulled back he lightly cupped my face in his hands and wipped the cake off my face.  I did the same with the whole guild watching.  Then he took my hand and we walked to our picnic blanket.  We sat down and fed eachother from our plates.  We clapped when Mira sang us a song.  Then suddenly Gajeel stood up, taking the microphone from Mira when she was done and said "I'd like to sing a song to my girl" and everyone groaned.

I smiled as he began to sing.  When he was done everyone's jaws dropped as he walked down towards me.  He held out his hand and I took it.  He pulled me up and suddenly I was dancing in his arms.  We danced underneath the Rainbow blossoms and then he dipped me again and kissed my neck.  He whispered in my ear "It's time to go Sweetheart."  I nodded and we said goodbye to everyone as we all walked to the trainstation.  "We're taking the train?" I asked.  "Yes" he said.  "Why dont you tell me where we're going and I can teleport us" I said.

"No it's a surprise" he insisted.  "Gajeel you'll be misrable" I said looking up at him.  "I'll be fine" He said and kissed me.  We hugged everyone goodbye and got on the train.  We sat down and the train started to move.  I yawned and laid my head on his shoulder.  "Sleep you'll need it for later" he murmered and held me close.

*Gajeel's Pov*

I looked down at her as she slept in my arms and kissed her forehead.  Her scent drifted towards me and I smiled.  I looked down at the ring on my finger and smiled at the design.  It was both of our dragons blowing fire at eachother.  Each flame hitting the other forming a heart.  And if you looked closely enough you could see 2 shapes under the flames that looked like people.  I smiled at the very detailed carving automatically knowing that it was made of pure iron.

The symbol with the iron is that her love would always remain pure, it could never be tainted.  I will admit that I had been scared when she tossed the ring away.  But I knew that she loved me to much to run away.  So I had stayed still.  I looked down once more at my wife, I looked away and took a deep breath.  I closed my eyes and fell asleep, holding my wife close.
